Nestled in the beautiful landscape of the Mad River Valley is The Featherbed Inn Bed & Breakfast, where guests ski Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, hike the Long Trail, cross-country ski, bike scenic Rte.100 and enjoy the splendors of fall foliage. The Mad River Valley offers four seasons of recreational activities. During the winter months ski at Sugarbush Resort or Mad River Glen, ice skate at the outdoor rink in Waitsfield Village or cross country ski at one of the several trail systems, all within five miles of the Inn. You can also make your own trail around the Inn property.

The land surrounding the Inn is most inviting to take a walk along formal paths through the woods and fields, relax in the gazebo swing and watch the clouds float by or the sun go down. You might also want to say "hi!" to the Featherbed horses and donkey as the graze nearby.

Refunds given for cancellations 21 days prior to arrival date. If cancellation is within 21 days, refunds are made if room is re-booked for equal stay. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of $25. Full reservation rate charged for guests arriving after date specified or leaving prior to final date of confirmed reservation.
