As I read over the comments of the other reviewers there is nothing I can really add - I would stay there again in a heart beat. From the 1st connection via telephone to Don until the time for my departure, I felt "at home". Clean, enchanting room and indeed the entire home is a welcoming place. Chatted and watched a movie in the library with another person staying there - decent good people., Food much too delicious! Don makes a mean omelet and Evelyn's home made jam and muffins - mmmm, nmmm. Excellent coffee as well. I attended a concert at Chandler arts center just down the street. WEnt for a walk early Sunday morningin the sunny cool refreshing weather of April. The chatting birds greeted me as I strolled along the lovley streets of Randolph. Will be back soon.

We were very comfortable in our room and very well fed at breakfast by our innkeepers Don and Evelyn. There was an expanded rear entrance and rear parking lot which gave a sense of security that our car was out of the way off the street and secure. Even being a dead end street, there was no traffic so it was oh so quiet that we had no trouble sleeping.....for walkers, once the car is parked, you can walk up the block, one to two blocks and get to some shops and restaurants nearby. There are also very convenient gas stations and laundromats nearby. If you have children, one of the bedrooms is perfect for children. We would highly recommend SweetSerenity to any parents and students who might be visiting nearby Vermont Technical College. Don and Evelyn can assist and guide you with any amenity or need you may have in the community at large. Highly Recommend. Not far off of Interstate 89 but far enough away to be very very quiet. The Inn itself is pleasantly decorated and very homey with lots of reading material, books and magazines and literature for attractions along with reflective, restorative relaxing reading material. The rooms have been updated, there are plenty of electrical outlets for charging and recharging cell phones, laptops, etc. etc. Our room had a bathroom with shower and another sink/mirror area in the bedroom as well, plenty of washing up space that two people could use simultaneously.

This was our 2nd stay with Don & Evelyn Sweetser, and we again had a wonderful time! The bed was comfortable, the Inn is clean and the food was great! And the location is within walking distance to stores and restaurants on Main Street. They recommended a new restaurant in town, and we ended up chatting for quite some time with the owner and had a very nice evening. We WILL be going back again in 2012! It's almost like visiting with close relatives!

This was my second stay with Don and Evelyn Sweetser. My first stay was in 2008. I don't get to Vermont as frequently as I would wish, but when I get there, this is my Vermont "home". The Sweetsers are wonderful hosts (and wonderful cooks!). And my eperience has beent that my fellow travelers are also returning visitors. No one goes elsewhere after staying here. I love the village, I love the Sweetsers, and I love the opportunityto stay in their home. This is, indeed, someplace special to wake up. Highly recommend.

The hosts were friendly, knowledgable, and did all they could to make you feel welcome and to be helpful. Breakfast menus and timing were varied to fit the desires of the guests. The house dates back to the 1870's, so it is a classic.
