Hickory Ridge House is one Vermont’s most Stylish inn, casual, elegant, and listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The bed and breakfast is perfect for intimate wedding parties and parlor weddings. This is an idyllic setting for romantic weekend getaways and a great spot for winter vacations and holidays. Most rooms have wood burning fireplaces, all have a private bath.
Hickory Ridge House is convenient to The Putney School, Landmark College, The Greenwood School, SIT, and Vermont Academy, all of the Putney craft studios, Santa's Land, covered bridges, hiking and other outdoor sports. A groomed 8.5 mile cross-country ski trail runs through our meadow (lessons and ski rentals available), and we are within easy driving range of popular Vermont downhill ski centers. If 10 days notice of cancellation is given (30 days during foliage season) a refund of the deposit (less $25 administrative fee) will be made. If less than 10 days (30 days during foliage season) the refund will be made only if the room is rebooked.
