The size and intimacy of the property makes The Red Clover Inn Bed & Breakfast in Mendon, Vermont perfect for couples, ski or golf vacations, seminars, retreats, gatherings of friends and “girlfriend getaways.” Our own private winding road leads you to this destination dining restaurant and Inn, featuring Vermont farm-to-table meals and excellent wines, and elegantly simple yet cozy accommodations. Stay in the 1840s Inn or adjacent Carriage House, both privately located on a secluded, country road just minutes from Killington and Pico. The Inn’s Great Room has a fireplace and mountain views, and is filled with games, books, a large flat screen TV/DVD player, a film library and ample space to gather. A small bar is located off the Great Room and carries a full selection of ardent spirits. Experience great cocktails and dining, conversation and fun without stepping out the door.

A complete dining experience, featuring Vermont specialties: fresh, homemade breads and local farm ingredients as the season permits. Linger by the fireside or in the gardens or grab an early breakfast and head to the mountains. Our organic teas and fair trade coffees served with fresh, homemade scones, biscotti, local jams and honey. Policies
Check In Policy:
Check-in is anytime after 3:00 pm. Please let us know if you’ll be arriving late in the day so we can make arrangements for you.
Check Out Policy:
Check-out is by 11:00 am. (Please, no check-ins or check-outs on Christmas Day.)
Cancellation Policy:
Should you need to cancel your reservation, all but $100 of your deposit will be refunded, provided we have a 30-day notice. Unlike commercial hotels and inns, we don’t protect ourselves with overbooking. In turn, we expect you to protect us by honoring your reservation. We understand that emergencies might arise, and ask that you call immediately should you have to cancel, so that we can call others on our waiting list. We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance, (call us if you’d like more information).
Children: Children Welcome
The Red Clover Inn is designed for couples and adults. While appropriate for families with teenage children, it is not recommended for children under 13 years of age. The exception is when the entire property is reserved for gatherings of families and friends, when we can make special arrangements for child care, dining and activities.
Deposit Policy:
A 50% deposit of total lodging is required at the time of making your reservation. Balance due at time of departure.
Pets Welcome
While the intimate nature of The Red Clover Inn prevents us from accommodating pets, we’ll be happy to help you make arrangements with one of our nearby kennels if you’re traveling with your pet.
