The Inn at Ormsby Hill is definitely the place to stay in Vermont. The innkeepers Ted and Chris are the best. You haven't had breakfast until you have had one of Chris's breakfast. The rooms are beautifully decorated and cozy. This was my husband and my third stay at the Inn and we have not been disappointed in any way. We will never stay at another Inn.

Absolute serenity! I reserved a two night stay at the Inn at Ormsby Hill for my wife and I as part of her Christmas gift. The owners Ted and Chris are nothing but welcoming with their hospitality. Chris is an outstanding chef and creates the most delicious breakfasts. Each room is unique in style and decor, and all promote relaxation and comfort with their two person jacuzzis and fireplaces. Our first night, my wife and I quietly played scrabble directly infront of a fireplace in one of the common areas while a snow storm came in from the south. Ted and Chris also helped recommend some great local restaurants and local stores to shop at. My wife and I would HIGHLY recommend the Inn at Ormsby Hill for a relaxing and/or romantic get-away. It was truly like coming home. We are eagerly looking forward to our next stay.

After 5 years of going back to the Inn at Ormsby Hill in Vermont, there is something to be said for consistency. Our experience each time we return to this wonderful place has been nothing short of splendid.
While one can dwell on the fabulous breakfasts, the outstanding accommodations and the graciousness of the hosts, it is not just these features that make the overall feeling second to none. Clearly, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Each fall season, we look forward to, once again, experiencing Vermont while staying at a place that is like no other. After staying here, we cannot imagine staying anywhere else.

Chris and Ted Sprague are awesome Inn Keepers and can be very proud of their Inn and the Service they provide, plus Chris' breakfasts are divine. We stayed in the Frances Room, a two room suite that was truly warm, inviting, and very pleasant; all the furnishings were comfortable and inviting. This is a supurb property and should be on the top of everyone's list of must Bed and Breakfast Inn's at which to stay. We look forward to returning soon.

This was one of the nicest B&Bs we've stayed in. The hosts were charming and very hospitable. We stayed in the Thompson Purdy suite, which was lovely. Complimentary robes and cookies were provided in the room. We had a jetted tub in our very spacious bathroom. The inn was immaculately clean and the decor was lovely. They offered several public sitting rooms to enjoy the ambieance. The grounds were gorgeous. We had to leave early, before the usual 9 a.m. breakfast. The hosts gladly offered us a lovely early cold breakfast with table setting and all. The only thing that was a little strange was a huge collection of stuffed animals on the second floor landing. It took away from the elegance of the rest of the Inn. I highly recommend the Inn and would go back in a heartbeat.

Overall, it just does not get better than this. The Innkeepers Ted and Chris made us feel we are part of the family. Attention to detail is everywhere. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the grounds are well maintained and very well appointed. Breakfast is to die for. Chris is a great chef. Needless to say, we will return and be ready to be spoiled again.
