Considered the "Crown Jewel of the Northeast Kingdom," Inn on the Common is a classic Vermont Country Inn nestled in one of Vermont's most photographed hill towns, famous Craftsbury Common.

A charming collection of sturdy white clapboard buildings, framed by towering oaks and stands of pine, this quaint rural setting offers a gentle reminder of simpler times gone by. The Inn's lovely campus is home to three meticulously restored Federal Houses, each surrounded by lush, sprawling lawns and gardens. Inside, The Fireside Guide says, "Wallpapers and fabrics are stunning and combinations of colors often unexpected."

To ensure that guests experience a quiet, restful retreat, rooms are free of noisy distractions like telephones and televisions. At Inn on the Common, curling up by the fire with a soft quilt and a good book will provide that much-needed escape from civilization.
