Cherry-paneled foyer and staircase
The grand staircase with rich wood paneling greets guests after they enter the double 10 feet tall front doors. The Willard Street Inn was built in the late 1880's for Charles W. Woodhouse, a prominent businessman and Vermont State Senator. The design of the house incorporates elements of the Queen Anne and the Colonial-Georgian Revival styles, both of which were just gaining popularity at that time.

A rich leather headboard on the queen-size bed with a cozy comforter of green, cranberry and gold make this room warm and inviting. Two large windows provide views of the Inn's gardens, Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks.
