We serve a full breakfast each morning for guests in our marble-floored solarium. We start you off with a selection of juices, Green Mountain Coffee or hot tea and a basket of our homemade breads and muffins. This is followed by your choice of one of our three daily breakfast options prepared by the Inn's chef: an egg dish, be it either traditional or with a bit of the unexpected, such as an omelette, an eggs benedict, or a savory scramble; a sweeter dish like pancakes, waffles, French toast or crepes with pure Vermont maple syrup; or the Willard Street Inn's homemade granola filled with nuts and dried fruit served with either milk, a selection of yogurts, or soy milk. Each entree is also accompanied by a nice side of fresh fruit.
We are happy to try to accommodate your special dietary needs or preferences (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, food allergies etc.) Please just let us know prior to your arrival so we can make necessary arrangements.
Each day we deliver a plate of our signature chocolate chip cookies to your room with Lake Champlain chocolates and a dried fruit snack. Green Mountain Coffees and a delightful array of teas are available throughout the day and evening, along with another small nibble, whether it be another delectable sweet or a piping hot cup of soup in the winter. In the warmer months we offer iced tea or lemonade as the perfect beverage to take outside where you can sit in our brightly colored Adirondack chairs or stroll our English gardens.

Luxury, tranquility, friendliness, gourmet breakfasts, and eco-savviness all in one B&B!
First of all, this place is gorgeous inside and out...a Victorian mansion with pretty rooms and cozy and charming sitting areas- both inside and outside. I stayed here for one night right before the 4th of July weekend and it was definitely a highlight of my time in Vermont. I wish I could have stayed longer!
When I first got to the inn, I was too early for check-in, so left my bags with the staff while I checked out some local sites.... when I got back...Mandy had graciously put them in my room...where a snack plate with a chocolate chip cookie, dried cranberries, and local chocolate was waiting- a really nice touch! My bedroom (Periwinkle) was comfortable and cute, had a spotless bathroom, and free wifi. What's more...it's a green certified B&B! (You get all the pleasure of being pampered, with half the guilt!) In the afternoon, there were tangerines and fresh baked cookies (which were good) available, and coffee/tea were available at all hours.
The breakfasts deserve their own paragraph...those were some of the best waffles I've ever had!....with a side of ham, whipped butter and fruit...even blackberries from the inn's backyard garden! You can pick from 3 daily selections- all of them gourmet...and enjoy them in the peaceful solarium.
Just before checking out, I checked out the beautiful backyard (note: a prime journaling and reading spot)...and after I stopped kicking myself for not having checked it out sooner...met the owners Katie and Larry Davis who were working in the garden and backyard with their son Jordan...their daughter Carrie, it turns out, manages the inn- a great family! Very warm and friendly...and the garden is great too...the inn's kitchen regularly uses the bounty of the garden (which Jordan designed and built)...be sure to check it out!
And speaking of things to check out: the inn is really close to downtown Burlington, with its many shops and restaurants...try American Flatbread and the Onion River Co-op market...and check with the staff about other things to do...they have really helpful maps and lists...even of other cities to try for day trips....
A top notch B&B.....would definitely stay at the Willard Street Inn again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Willard Street Inn and am hoping to return there at least 2 more times in the next year. The Inn keeper was extremely kind, knowledgeable and friendly. All in all it was a wonderful experience!

The Willard Street Inn is a delightful accommodation in Burlington Vt. We have stayed there twice, so far and expect to return often. The rooms vary in size, ranging from cozy to spacious. Breakfasts are exceptional, served with attention to flavor, color and presentation. The hosts Katie and David were extremely accommodating on our last visit. We had to leave quickly on the last day due to a family emergency. They went out of their way to provide us our breakfasts as 'take away,' something they explained was not in the norm.

We were 100% pleaed with the Willard street Inn. The room was beautiful, meticulously maintained and very comfortable. The public spaces are welcoming and fully stocked with books and games. The included breakfasts were fabulous, and the chocolate chip cookies placed in your room each afternoon are a nice touch. This is a really, really great place owned and operated by people perfectly suited to the business. If you're looking to visit the Burlington, VT area, this is the place to stay as far as we're concerned.
