Sit back and relax in an unhurried atmosphere or enjoy 6,000 pristine private acres, which feature tennis courts, a crystal clear swimming pool, and miles of trails that are perfect for hiking, biking, and horse-back riding or nature tours.

Weddings and Civil Marriages
The Black Bear Inn specializes in small weddings and elopements. Ceremonies can be conducted outdoors on our beautiful wooded grounds, or inside in front of the roaring fireplace!

Front Parlor
Our expansive front parlor, a favorite especially in the wintertime with a roaring fire. Enjoy a bottle of wine from the expansive wine list, or relax with a boardgame from our game shelf!

Dining Room
With senses sharpened by the fresh mountain air, you will discover the finest country dining right here at the Inn. Start the day with a full country breakfast that includes our homemade muffins and locally-tapped maple syrup. A fruit and juice buffet, which is followed by hot breakfast choices which vary each morning. Later, savor full-course, candlelight dinners which are created by our own Chef Brian O'Neil. Meals are always started with our own homemade herbed wheat bread. Enjoy a glass of wine or local draft beer before or after dinner. Perfect for sitting in front of the fire after a long day of skiing or sightseeing!

Super Deluxe Room
One of our many rooms with a private outdoor hot tub! Our Super Deluxe rooms also feature a Vermont firestove and refrigerator. Many also have private balconies. Ideal for couples on a romantic getaway.

Hideaway Room
This is our most private and romantic guestroom, located behind the inn in a smaller building. This "tuckedaway" room features a private outdoor hot tub, Vermont firestove, queen bed, and fridge/coffemaker.

The MountainTop Suite
This is our largest suite, featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full eat-in granite kitchen,and living room with LCD TV and DVD. Also included are TV/DVD in each bedroom, and a private 5-person hot tub on a wraparound deck. The master bedroom shown has it's own private balcony.

The Coach House/Honeymoon Suite
This suite is ideal for couples looking for an indulgent getaway, or a small family wanting the convenience of multiple rooms. Features a queen bedroom, living room with gas fireplace, pullout sofabed, and TV/DVD; small kitchen, and a private 4-person hottub.

Superior Room
The Superior Room is our largest guest room, featuring two queen beds, gas fireplace, fridge/coffeemaker, and private outdoor hottub. There is also a sitting area. This can also be connected with a standard room, adding two more beds and an extra bathroom.

Deluxe Room with Firestove
One of our Deluxe rooms on the second floor, featuring a balcony with mountain views, and Vermont firestove. With two beds, this is ideal for families. Also available with one king bed.

Cozy Standard Room
These rooms on the first floor feature two beds and private bath. Many have private balconies. Some of these rooms are also pet-friendly.
