Wraparound Porch
In the summer, our rose garden is a popular lingering spot; you may even encounter a few of our friends strolling the brick paths. We have over 50 types of roses, mostly antique, for you to enjoy. Relax on our massive, wrap-around front porch, rockers and white wicker await.

Library
OUR LIBRARY is the favorite room of the house for many. Quiet and comfortable, a wonderful place to curl up on a winter's night with the fire place crackling in the background. Books here are general in topic, and include reference and many of our own collection that is not for sale. The Bellows Falls Literary Guild meets here once a month to discuss a wide range of work including poetry, short stories, biographies, current fiction, and even our own work on occasion.

Breakfast
The dining room has lots of windows and light, and features a "millennium" mural on all four walls depicting the area 100 years ago, and 1,000 years ago. You will dine by candlelight, and in the fall and winter we'll light a fire. Vintage linens and Irish crystal grace the table, but that is just the stage for the meal. We use local organic products whenever possible: eggs, milk, butter, world-class cheeses, produce, and maple syrup from our friend's sugar house down the road.

Sausage and bacon are hand made locally, but we also offer vegetarian alternatives that are most pleasing, and can cater to any other dietary requirement.

Vermont Bed & Breakfast Accommodations
It features a queen sized canopy bed, fireplace, whirlpool tub, dressing room, and a lovely view of the sunrise over Fall Mountain if you are an early riser and the frequent fogs and mists behave. As a bow to TR, we've a hunter's theme here (complete with animal skins), and wallpapered ceilings in reproduction Victorian papers. The colors are sage and rust as found in the antique Oriental rug which was our inspiration for the room. Books for sale here include a large collection of Roosevelt, as well as other presidents and history. Elegant and comfortable.

VT Inn Lodgings
The southwest light gives a special glow to the surroundings. The room features a mahogany queen four poster, fireplace, and large whirlpool. The colors here are mauve, lilac, and apricot, set off by an antique hand hooked rug. A reproduction turn-of-the-century French wallpaper highlights birds and flowers, and grass paper trim are authentic to the house. Some of the furniture in this room is original to the house as well. Books for sale here are on gardening, horticulture, and bird watching.

Vermont Luxury B&B
It features a Queen sized antique brass bed, private bath with an antique ball-and-claw foot tub. Its west light makes it perfect for those who like to sleep in. It is also our most quiet room, set apart in the west wing. As one would imagine, books for sale here are cookbooks.
