Located on the banks of the Battenkill River, the Battenkill Inn offers gracious bed and breakfast country inn accommodations, just minutes south from Manchester Village. Winter sports, antiquing, golfing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, fine dining, shopping, fly fishing and hunting are all within your reach. Bring along your fishing gear for exceptional angling from our banks on the Battenkill River.

The classic 1840 farmhouse has high ceilings and marble fireplaces. Eight distinctive guest rooms and one suite, each with a private bathroom, are decorated with fine antiques. Three guest rooms and the suite have working fireplaces, and several open onto porches looking out over the meadow to the Battenkill River and Green Mountains. Innkeepers Alan and Judy Edmunds invite you to a full country breakfast, relaxing atmosphere and the time to unwind with refreshments by the fire. There are two breakfast rooms and two fireplace sitting rooms for guests to enjoy.

Check In Policy:
Check in after 3:30 pm, earlier by request only. If you need to check in after 10pm, please let us know.
Check Out Policy:
Check out by 11am. Later check is possible if arranged in advance.
Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellation (in writing) that are be received at least 14days in advance of check in will be fully refunded less a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will only be refunded (less the $25 processing fee) if the room(s) that were reserved are rebooked for all of the days that were reserved. Refunds for deposits on events are specified in the event contract.
Children: Children ages 9+
Due to safety concerns (We have a pond on site, and we border the Battenkill River) we feel that our B&B is not appropriate for children under 9.
Deposit Policy:
A deposit equal to one nights stay is required to hold your reservation.

In the owners quarters we have a dog, and we have 3 outdoor cats. No pets (including our own) are allowed in the Inn.
