Set high on a mountainside overlooking the historic village of Arlington and the Green Mountains beyond, the century-old West Mountain Inn has been hosting guests for over thirty years.

Visitors to the Inn are surrounded by spacious, antique-filled guest rooms, fantastic views, and 150 acres of gardens, lawns, woodlands and meadows. Without having to leave the Inn's property, guests can hike or snowshoe on miles of trails, fly-fish, swim or canoe in the famous Battenkill River and read or relax in the Adirondack chairs on the front lawn. The Inn's wood-paneled dining room provides the perfect setting for the lavish country breakfasts and sumptuous 5-course dinners created daily by our award-winning chef. The Inn also offers private rooms and a wonderful old barn for the unique celebration of weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions or business meetings.

Full Country Breakfast MAP Restaurant on Premises

Dinner starts with an Artisan Cheese Selection in the Bar, followed by a fabulous 5-course meal in our romantic wood-paneled dining room with fireplace, candle light and fabulous views. The Inn serves a sumptuous, multi-course breakfast each morning with fresh-baked muffins, omelets, pancakes and even dessert!

Cancellation Policy:
The deposit will be refunded, less a $20 administrative fee, only if the reservation is shortened or cancelled at least 14 days in advance of arrival. A reservation using a gift certificate as a deposit is subject to the same policy.

We love children of all ages!
Childcare: Yes
Babysitters may be arranged with prior notice.
Deposit Policy:
A one night's deposit per room is required at the time the reservation is made.

We have one of our townhouse apartments designated as "pet-friendly." There is a $35 per day additional charge for pets.
