Our cats and a few native white-tail deer may greet you when you arrive at Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast. The original pet, Angel is no longer with us... because if she were still alive, she would be 16 years old. She raised 6 babies here, so some of the other native deer are her offspring. As you walk in the door, you will feel as though you have walked back in time. The rock and timber homestead originally from 1847 was a small rectangular shaped home. The walls of the original home range from 17" to 23" thick. The three sons (Dibrell, Darrell, and David) and the family Larry and Margy Waldrip lovingly restored this home and then added to it. The rocks that were used to add to the house were recycled from the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Comal County Jail. If you like to talk history, please feel free to ask and take pictures. One historical note, the rock in front of the old fireplace in the kitchen is the original front step of the Comal County Jailhouse. You've heard of Elvis's jailhouse rock, well we have real jailhouse rock. I do not mind that these walls can't talk!! Come and see this for yourself. ROOM: DEER HAVEN COTTAGE
The Deer Haven Cottage is a separate building behind the main Kuebler Waldrip Haus. It is a comfortable one-story building that now has 2 queen beds, 1 twin, a roll-away bed, a living room, a full kitchen, a dining room, a private bath, and 2 porches. It has heat, AC, TV, ceiling fans, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, iron, and blow dryer. The back covered porch has a table with chairs, a view, BBQ pit, and there is usually a breeze. It is approximately 900 sq. ft. and also comes equipted with a dishwasher and a laundry room. This makes it more perfect especially if you are traveling with young children. You are perpared for anything. Tile floors allow this room to also be our "Pet Friendly" room, and we allow up to 2 pets. Pets must be pre-arranged at the time of rental, and pet fees and rules apply. Nightly room rate for 2 start at $205.00 plus tax. Add $30 per adult or $20 per child. The following rooms have a marble Jacuzzi tub: the Hillside Hideaway (king bed w/Jacuzzi/shower bath), Katherine's Attic (king bed and Jacuzzi/shower bath), Danville School Room (queen bed and Jacuzzi bath), and the Deer Haven Cottage (queen bed and Jacuzzi/shower bath). ROOM: KUEBLERS KASTLE
The Kuebler's Kastle room is a downstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. It used to be our garage, and it was built to accommodate Mrs. Elizzabeth Kuebler, Margy's mother. She had trouble with steps in her later years. The room has a king size bed, a cammel back couch, electric fireplace, two showers, a dressing area, heat, AC, TV, ceiling fans, iron w/board, blow dryer, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. It sleeps 2, and it is also wheelchair accessible. The marble countertops, shower, and vanity are built for wheelchair access. This room does not have a porch, but there is a wonderful sitting area right out in front of the main house. A table and chairs, rocking chairs, and chais lounges are also placed in different areas around the property. The nightly room rate for 2 is $135.00 plus tax. ** No smoking and no pets allowed in this room. Thank you.

ROOM: HILLSIDE HIDEAWAY
Hillside Hideaway is a upstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. It is a wonderful large bedroom with a king and a double size bed, a red and white marble Jacuzzi bath, a private small covered porch, heat, AC, TV, refrigerator, microwave, iron w/ board, blow dryer, coffee pot, ceiling fans, and great views from the windows. This room is also close to the kitchen, so you may get the smells of breakfast ... before having breakfast. What better smells to wake-up to?? "By the way honey, please bring me a cup of coffee." Nightly room rate start at $145 for 2, and the room can sleep up to 4 people. If adding guests, add $30 per adult and $20 per child. These rates include breakfast.

ROOM: GUILBEAU ROOM
Guilbeau Room is a wonderful upstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building.. right above the kitchen. You get the smell of breakfast before having our hot real breakfast. It has a queen size bed, 1 twin bed, a private shower/tub bath, heat, AC, TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, ceiling fan, iron w/board, blow dryer, touch lights by the bed, and a rocking chair. This room can sleep up to 3 guests. Nightly room rate is $125.00 plus tax. If adding guests, add $30 per adult or $20 per child. These rates include our wonderful breakfast brunch at 9 am.

ROOM: KATHERINES ATTIC
Katherine's Attic room is an upstairs room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building. The room is named after Andreas and Katherine Pape, the original family from Hanover, Germany. The Kraft family is the second family, and we purchased the property from them. It is the original attic of the house. The room has 2 kings and 1 twin and will sleep 2-5 guests. Other in-room features are an electric fireplace, a dressing area, a private shower/Jacuzzi bath, heat, AC, TV, iron w/board, blow dryer, ceiling fan, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and a large shared porch. ROOM: ROOM WITH A VIEW
Room with A View is a small comfortable room in the Kuebler Waldrip Haus building, right accross from the Katherine's Attic room. There is a famous movie by this name, and there is a great view of the Texas Hill Country. This room is quiet, dark, and you'll sleep well. Recharge your battery today. The room has a king bed, a shower bath, shared kitchenette (sink, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot), shared porch, heat, AC, ceiling fans, iron w/board, blow dryer, and TV. This room sleeps 2 guests. Nightly room rate for 2 is $135 plus tax. Breakfast is included in this rate.

ROOM: EAST OF THE MOON
East of the Moon room is a wonderful upstairs room in the Danville Schoolhouse building. The original 1863 schoolhouse did not have an upstairs.. it was all attic space. We added support beams and a dormer to add the rooms and shower baths. The room now has a king bed, a queen sleeper sofa bed, a shower bath, and it can sleep 2-4 people. It has carpeted floor, heat, AC, TV, refrigerator, microwave, ceiling fans, iron w/board, blow dryer, and coffee pot. Nightly room rate for 2 is $135.00 plus tax. ROOM: WEST OF THE SUN
West of the Sun room is a wonderful upstairs room in the Danville Schoolhouse building. The original 1863 schoolhouse did not have an upstairs.. it was all attic space. We added support beams and a dormer to add the rooms and shower baths. The room has a king bed, a shower bath, sleeps 2 people, and has a wonderful large shared porch. It has a great country view of the area perfect to watch birds, wildlife, or just relax. It has carpeted floor, heat, AC, TV, refrigerator, microwave, ceiling fans, iron w/board, blow dryer, and coffee pot. ROOM: DANVILLE SCHOOL ROOM
The Danville School room is a downstairs room in the Danville Schoolhouse building that is 24' by 36'. It was the original one-room schoolhouse and has the original wood floors, ceiling, and walls from 1863. The room has a queen size original Murphy bed, a full kitchen (sink, copper countertop, stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot), Jacuzzi bath, and 2 sides of the building have a nice covered porch. A breeze is usually there anytime after 12 pm. Sit or rock on the porch while watching the birds or wildlife. Other in-room amenities include heat, AC, 48" TV, ceiling fans, iron w/board, and blow dryer. Nightly room rate for 2 is $185.00 plus tax. Call us today to rent this room. The Danville Porch Room is a spacious downstairs bedroom in the Danville Schoolhouse building. This room was added by closing in part of the original walk-around porch that covered the building 360 degrees. It is 10' by 42' long, has a shower bath, heat, AC, TV, a wonderful marble countertop kitchenette (with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot), ceiling fans, iron w/board, blow dryer, a couch, and a private porch. It faces to the east, so you get the morning sun-rise. The room has a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. The room sleeps 2-4 people and the nightly room rate for 2 is #145.00 plus tax.
