Upstairs VerandaAt 8:00 am, the smell of hot coffee, and possibly bacon, drifts through the main house from the innkeeper’s kitchen. The dining room table is set and ready for its first guests. At 9:00 am, breakfast is served. Relax and enjoy breakfast in our dining room or if the weather is nice, the courtyard is the perfect retreat to enjoy breakfast. For those who would like a more intimate breakfast, let us bring breakfast to your room, just let us know.

Klein Haus CottageThe Joseph Klein House, built by this German settler in 1852, sits just behind the inn. It served as his cobbler shop and family residence. Over a hundred years ago, this small house was moved to the back of the lot to make way for the new hotel. It was renovated and returned to its original cypress interior in 1999. Both the Prince Solms Inn and the Joseph Klein Haus are registered Texas heritage landmarks.

Carl's Suite This suite is named after Prince Carl Solms of Braunfels, Germany. This room is suitably named after royalty for all of its grandeur. Carl’s Suite is located on our first floor near the back door. Just below the suite, in our cellar, is the Uptown Piano Bar. This suite is our second most requested suite due to its location above the bar. You can relax in your room and sometimes hear the live music below your feet.
