Just a short stroll from downtown Jefferson, Texas, stands The Hale House Inn Bed and Breakfast. Built in the 1880's, it became the personal residence of Miss May Belle Hale. Miss Hale was a prominent Jeffersonian, an accomplished musician and published composer for many years.
The Hale House is comfortably furnished with gorgeous period antiques and has been restored to include modern conveniences, along with its hardwood floors, antique mirrors, and even an antique melodia built in 1750. For the couple who wants an intimate wedding ceremony in a nostalgic east Texas town - with or without family and friends - the Hale House Inn may provide the perfect option! We offer two packages - one for just the bride and groom and another for the bride and groom and up to 10 guests. We can also create custom wedding packages for 100 or more guests.
The Hale House Inn Bed & Breakfast is a delightful setting to spend a night or a week, celebrate a honeymoon or an anniversary or any other special occasion of your life. Whatever the reason for the visit, we are more than happy to accommodate. |

Cancellation Policy: |
If you must cancel, and do so 8 or more days prior to your stay, and we are able to rebook your room, your deposit less the $50 service fee will be returned to you. Cancellations within 7 days of your scheduled arrival are charged full rate to your credit card but you will be issued a gift certificate that is transferable and lasts for a full year. All cancellations must be made in person or by phone. Voice mail and emailed cancellations will not be honored.

Reservations require one night or 50% deposit, whichever is larger, to hold your room(s) until arrival. The balance is due upon arrival. Requirements may differ for holidays, special occasions or full-house parties.

Timm and Karen are wonderful hosts. They enjoy serving their guests and it shows! Hale House is a great place to stay in Jefferson. The inn is clean and well maintained. The rooms were decorated nicely and comfortable.

A group of 12 ladies from our church stayed at The Hale House Inn for an overnight retreat. We enjoyed every minute of it! The house was beautiful, everyone loved their rooms, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, their wasn't a need that wasn't met, and we will be sure to go back again! Timm & Karen were wonderful hosts and truly love what they do. It shows in every detail! I will be taking my parents there next weekend for their birthdays! Can't wait! You cannot go wrong staying here! It is what every bed and breakfast experience should be. LOVED IT!

Our second visit was every bit as relaxing and fulfilling as the first. We reserved rooms for an overnight getaway, and convinced another couple to come along with us to experience the atmosphere and comfort of the Hale House. We love Jefferson, and staying at the Hale House Inn is one of the things that makes our stay special every time. The smoothies are wonderful,and there are always smoothies to start out your breakfast. Karen says they wake up your taste buds, and she's definitely right about that! The refreshments are delicious and plentiful, and there is a stash of toiletries in the upstairs hallway, should you leave home without something. Kudos to Timm and Karen. Wonderful hosts who know how to make a guest feel completely at home.

The home was immaculate. Beautifully kept. The host and hostess were gracious and kept the conversations going with grace and ease. There were snacks available for 'midnight snackers' downstairs, and upstairs there was a cache of any and every item you might have left behind. Timm and Karen think of everything. Breakfast was indoors or on the veranda or gazebo - your choice. It was served beautifully and was scrumptious. Fresh peach smoothie, and a breakfast fit for a king..or queen! The rooms were all beautiful, and the night we stayed being the time change, the hosts changed our clocks for us while we were at dinner. We will absolutely be back.

Jefferson, Texas is a historic town with lots of charm, shops, restaurants, ans historic highlights. The Hale House Inn is a short walk from the downtown area and the accommodations are extremely comfortable with modern amenities (Direct TV and WiFi). We loved the breakfast and complimentary snacks throughout the day. There are numerous areas to read and relax, both indoors and outdoors.

this was our honeymoon weekend.. tim and karen were fantastic host and hostess and very helpful..the house is beautiful and we felt at home and we will be going back.. the price was great, breakfast was scrumptious.. i say if you never been GO for the ultimate.. experience sherry and Raymond Eason

Timm and Karen are the most wonderful folks you would want to meet. It was like coming home at night after a long days work. We couldn't have breakfast at the B7B, but it was fixed every day as a take out. The home was beautiful. But it wouldn't be what it is without Timm & Karen!

I've never been one to try a B&B, but my husband needed to take a quick business trip and the closest hotel to his business location was booked. He expanded his search to nearby towns and included B&Bs and suggested we try The Hale House Inn. I was very wary thinking that I wouldn't enjoy the experience. I WAS SO WRONG!! I had an incredibly fun time and loved the room in which we stayed. Timm & Karen Jackson were wonderful hosts! Timm told me he'd make a convert out of me and he was absolutely correct. I can't wait to try other B&Bs in the future and look forward to being able to stay at the Hale House Inn again!
