Step back in time and embrace days gone by (in the comfort still having ELECTRICITY!!). Wonderful atmosphere and Jolene and Tim are great host and hostess. Beautiful gardens and pathways inspired by the history of Lady Bird Johnsons' vision for wildlife. This B&B is a MUST STAY!!

My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at the quaint and rustic Holly Hill Homestead. It was almost like going back in time to my visits to my great aunts' homes in Mississippi, with a cozy room and great food. Jolene went out of her way to accommodate my admittedly picky tastes, and created phenomenal breakfasts and a wonderful romantic dinner for us. It was a weekend I will always treasure, and I highly recommend Holly Hill Homestead to anyone who REALLY wants to get away from fast-paced city life. We will be back! -vince

Very relaxing, peacefull & down home hospitality. The food was very good & hostess was so friendly. Seemed like a step back in time in the 1920's type farmhouse. Enjoyed walking in the woods, the flowers, chickens, and the animals. The farmhouse was very comfortable & decorated in the hostess unique style. Coffee on the front porch with the cat, Buttons, was so enjoyable.

My wife & I celebrated our 16th anniversary at this great B & B. It was as if I were 8 or 9 yrs old & getting to spend the night at my grand parents house on the farm. It is a beautiful farm house w/ just a old time feel of when things were slower than they are now (which was much needed for my wife & I). After an exceptional breakfast (that again took me back to Grandmas cooking) we walked through the large area of different kinds of plants (which is right up my wifes alley) & enjoyed watching the chickens which had provided part of our breakfast for us just earlier. Last, but not least the hospitality of our great Christian host Jolene & Tim was fanominal. Overall it was a great stay, that my wife & I would recomend to anyone who just needs to slow down & relax. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Holly Hill Homestead. We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary at the precious B&B and loved every minute of the stay. Tim and Jolene are incredibly kind, sweet and hospitable people. The pets are very friendly and love to cuddle, and the food was incredible. Our breakfast was one of a kind! Banana pancakes, and the fruit medley with the carmel sauce.......yum! We chose the Grape Escape and loved meeting Merril of Red Road Winery and Darlene of YouNiquely Yours. We can't wait to come back. Thanks Holly Hill Homestead!

Upon a little hill just beyond a wooded drive sits an unassuming yellow house surrounded by swaying flowers and a paved path next to a large sign that simply says "welcome". After a short walk up the stairs, before your knuckles reach the door to knock, a tiny voice calls out, "come on in!". Thus begins your southern journey back in time. There is a feeling of calm and contentment that seems to wash over you as you put your suitcase down. I do believe that tiny angels live in Ms. Jolene's kitchen, and help her tie her apron on just before she bakes. I can honestly say, I heard a symphony playing in my head while I ate her most delectable breakfast brunch. Never before or since have I been graced with such perfect of a dish. This house with it's endearing qualities just beg you to stop, sit, and sip. My favorite part was sipping perfectly brewed coffee in a rocking chair overlooking the gardens outside. While I did enjoy my java, that front porch just begs for sweet tea in a mason jar on a warm summer night. After a day of celebrating with family, I truly enjoyed the footed antique tub to soak away all stresses. Then to sleepy in a most cozy and soft bed with the aroma of line dried sheets, dancing in my head. Sweet dreams it was. The whole experience from greeting to goodbye was one that truly nourished my soul. Thank you both, Tim and Jolene, for making our stay most memorable. We look forward to many returns.

Definitely a hidden gem. We only spent a day and one night, but it was enough to recharge ourselves and appreciate wonderful hospitality. Holly Hill is a charming bed and breakfast, with lovely, comfortable furnishings. Jolene is a very helpful, and friendly hostess. The Holly Hill House is a big house, clean and cozy and quiet; beautiful grounds, and has a wonderful authentic feel. Great period furnishings that compliment the home. It's beautiful, spacious, comfortable and well built. The beds are heavenly, service is just right. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and very sharing people. They put you at ease and after briefly getting you acquainted with the house, will let you relax, explore and enjoy. The rooms are nicely decorated; the bed was super comfortable and the sheets were high- thread count, soft, crisp, neat and oh so comfortable. Breakfast! Beautiful setting on the front porch which overlooks some of the gardens, wonderful serving by the innkeeper - just wanting to make sure you had everything you need but not hovering. And really excellent looking and tasting food. Good coffee, fresh scrambled eggs (gathered that morning), a unique batch of French toast layered with egg and topped with caramelized pecans, fresh strawberry soup, topped with fresh cut strawberries and flakes of home grown mint...savory goodness. Holly Hill is a great value and an even better relaxing and charming getaway. What a fantastic stay! Stay here, you will love it, too.
