Lost Bayou Guesthouse Tammy 5 08/14/2008 My hubby and I always stay with Phil and Chito at the Lost Bayou Guest House when we visit Galveston. The rooms are charming and have the MOST comfortable beds in town! I highly recommend breakfast on the veranda in the front and cocktails on the patio in the afternoon. Lost Bayou is really close to the beach and if your up for a nice walk along the beach there are some shops close by. Phil knows ALL of the best restaurants in town and there is plenty of nightlife on the weekends. Galveston is especially cool during Dickens on the Strand and Mardi Gras!

Lost Bayou Guesthouse Karrie 5 08/13/2008 From the website the Lost Bayou Guesthouse looked charming and quaint and in person, it took my breath away!! It was absolutely lovely and full of character. Every room has a different theme, windows and the front balcony is beautiful and tranquil. Phil was the perfect host, taking my breakfast order the day before and having it ready for me in the morning. The sheets are soft and silky and the mattresses are heavenly. The beach was only a few blocks down the street. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Nop notch accommodations for a very comfortable price. I've alreay booked my room for next month!
