Jim and Ritta are fantastic hosts. We enjoyed our stay, very relaxing and restful. Loved learning more about the Alpaca's. Enjoyed spending time in the Irish pub as well and sharing a bit of scotch!

This place was absolutely OUTSTANDING! We loved everything about this quirky little bed and breakfast, which happened to be our first B&B. We had a relaxing time and Jim was the best :) We will definitely be back before the year is over.

We stayed at the Old Irish for a weekend birthday getaway. The place is both charming and interesting, as are the owners. Our cottage was clean and comfortable, with a bed to die for. Normally we have some back issues when we stay away from home, but not here! We had the weekend gourmet breakfast. The fresh eggs, Irish potatoes, and maple sausage were particular favorites. Jim is happy to entertain with Irish jokes, but make sure you don't have food in your mouth when he gets to the punchlines! We loved the farm tour and feeding the animals. We also liked the fact that nearly everything on the place has been repurposed. How cool is that? We'll definitely stay again when we return to the area.

Stayed here on business during the week. So quiet and peaceful on the front porch. A wonderful change from the same-old same-old hotels. Rustic surroundings with very clean cabin with comfortable bed. Visiting alpacas and llamas a great way to slough off stress of the day. Will definitely stay here again.

We took over the place - every cottage and the meeting room too. Jim went out of his way to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. He and his wife are great people and very accommodating. Special meals were no problem. The cottages are clean, cozy, and comfortable. Our meeting room was great too.

We chose the Old Irish for our stay in Denton, in town for a grandson's graduation from UNT. We had three generations there, enjoyed the Capote and GrayStoke, both pristine and charming little cottages. What a unique operation! All those ammenities mentioned on the website didn't come close to addressing the charm and welcome and fun experiences we found at Old Irish. Our party especially enjoyed our quiet, late, late-night visit on the front porch, with the catfish pond fountain providing background music. Jim and Rita made extra-ordinary effort to see that our every need and request was met --- no need for sishes for luck of the Irish at this place. The early morning thundershower, just as we were leaving for graduation Saturday morning, got in the way of me getting to collect my "good-by" kiss from handsome dude Valentino. However, I did blow him a kiss as we drore out the gate. . . . The only thing that could have made our visit better: to have been able to stay longer. Good folks who love what they do. . . . Good times for guests. . . . Well worth visiting again.

My husband and I spent our anniversary here, and we will definitely be returning! The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast in bed was delicious. We really enjoyed our private porch and hot tub. Also, the Alpaca Experience is not to be missed! Make sure you get an alpaca kiss from Valentino!! This was the most relaxing, peaceful, and unique getaway we have had. Thank you Jim and Craig for making us feel so welcome.

Probably our most relaxing stay at a Bed and Breakfast! Jim and Rita have made it a wonderful atmosphere and truly make you feel at home. We enjoyed so much visiting with the alpacas, and our room was so cozy. Even though we had other plans to do "in town", we opted to stay in our room and just rest. We will definitely plan another trip to the Old Irish!
