My boyfriend and I spent the night in the cottage for a little anniversary "staycation". It was PERFECT. Everything was so clean and cozy, and we didn't want to leave. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the heart-shaped cinnamon rolls and huge, comfy bed to the back porch where we curled up in chairs and enjoyed the country air. I've since stayed at the cottage again with a couple of girlfriends for a girls night in. We cooked dinner, drank wine, listened to 90s pop music while playing cards. We spent a lot of time having girl talk on the back porch this time - I really love it back there! All in all, this is a wonderful place to stay. The hospitality is second to none and the cottage is so adorable you'll want to move right in!

We actually stayed in one of the RV spots next to the cottage. We had the fortunate pleasure of meeting Rhonda and David, the owners who were staying in their own RV right next to us. They welcomed us warmly, and even offered a ride to the winery dinner we were attending, which we gladly accepted. The walk back was an easy, pleasant one for anyone interested in staying here and making the winery a destination. Or you can use the bicycles they make available, walk around the town looking at houses and chatting with the very friendly inhabitants, explore the park where you can swim and float in the Pugh River or jump in using any number of rope swings. We had full use of the cottage porches to include an impressive outdoor propane grill. Rhonda gifted us with her delectable homemade strawberry bread, fresh out of the oven. They gave us a tour of the cottage, which we WILL return to stay in. They did an excellent job of renovating and decorating the cottage themselves. It's clean, creative, simple and it seems every detail has been carefully tended to. I highly recommend the Christoval Cottage B&B and its adjoining RV spots. Rhonda and David are decidedly gracious hosts!
