This was a very enjoyable place go stay. Loved the vintage feel and hospitality from Nancy and her husband Tom.
The first night we put Nancy to the test. I had 6 bridesmaids staying the night with me. Nancy was so very nice and put up with us crazy girls, even after we had locked ourselves out that night!
The second night Nancy had the whole place spick and span for my new husband and I to arrive to after the hurricane of girls. Haha. She made us a very nice full filling breakfast and we enjoyed talking to her and Tom.
Everything was wonderful and I would highly recommend the coach, if your just looking for a nice home away from home to stay with your hubby or even have a few more with you along the way! Nancy can do it all!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. The Coach House was very homey and comfortable and enjoyable. We enjoyed relaxing and being together. We enjoyed the food very much and all the hard work Nancy put into it. We also very much enjoyed meeting Nancy and Tom and enjoyed visiting with them. They were a blessing to us! I hope we'll get to visit again someday in the future.

There are not enough words to express how this place has affected my husband and I. We have told soo many people of our wonderful experience and how it has touched hearts and helped rekindle a marriage when we needed it the most. My husband and I stayed along with my niece and her husband for our husband's boss's wedding at a nearby lodge. We were amazed at how beautiful it was and how the home had such a welcoming feel to it. Nancy and Coach couldn't have made it any better for us. We truly enjoyed our wonderful breakfast and time socializing w/ such wonderful hosts. We felt totally comfortable from the moment we arrived until the moment we left and hated to have to leave when we did. My husband and I are looking forward to going again for another special weekend just for that much needed time away. My niece and her husband are planning to do the same. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER!!!! Much thanks to Ms. Nancy and Coach for the wonderful people you are

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary. It was beautiful and comfortable. It was a home away from home kind of feeling. A whole house to yourself compared to just another hotel room! Waking up to the smell of bacon, bisquits, gravy, and so much more just a few steps away was very nice. The owners were friendly and hospitable.
The town it self is great to go drive around. There are small shops and the river is beautiful any time of year.
We were very happy with our stay.

Nancy is a wonderful hostess and a great cook. I was there for my son's wedding with my mom & aunt and she made us feel comfortable like it was home. She kept the fridge stocked with goodies and her brownies Are perfect! I took a few with me for my plane ride home to Oregon. I'm planning on returning to Christoval for Thanksgiving and hope she has a vacancy for me. If not I will surely stop by to say hi. April Wilson (mother of the groom), Eugene, OR

The Coach House is a wonderful place! It's nicely decorated and so so quaint. The hosts, Nancy and Coach, were sweet and welcoming. We stayed 2 nights so we got 2 breakfasts....5+++ stars. Those homemade biscuits Nancy makes are the bomb! *Nancy, I enjoyed our chats while you cooked our breakfast feasts.* The fridge was stocked with water, soft drinks, fruit, cheese and crackers. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the cupcakes with cream cheese frosting....yumm yumm! We never went hungry, that's for sure. This place was peaceful, quiet, very relaxing and in a great location. We walked to the park, drove out to the Hummer House close by, went to the Christoval Vineyards, also close to the Coach House, for wine tasting and music. *Thank you, Nancy and Coach, for such a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed your company so much we hated to leave. We definitely left with much more than we arrived with...wonderful memories and new friends!* Olga and Mark

I don't even know where to begin! Coach Tommy and Nancy Davis are the most wonderful hosts. This B&B far exceeded any expectation I had. It was my birthday and Nancy had decorated the dining table and made brownies and had a lovely bottle of wine cooled and waiting for us. They are just the most delightful couple and instantly made us feel welcome, starting from Nancy standing on the front steps waving to us as we drove by looking for them and giving us a huge welcome smile, to both of them waving us goodbye when we, reluctantly, left.
The breakfasts that Nancy cooked were absolutely delicious and so much of everything. She is an excellent cook, no doubt about that!
Coach Tommy is such a humble man, and yet he is a legend in many towns in Texas. If you get a chance to read the booklet that was made about him, you will see how much he has changed a lot of young lives in his day as coach. We so very much enjoyed our conversations with him and Nancy.
The bed in the larger bedroom where we slept was so comfortable, we slept like babies, and the comfort of this little home was just so much more than we had expected. The parlor had numerous books and comfortable chairs to read to your heart's content. We never even turned the TV on!
The rocking chairs on the front porch were perfect for sitting and watching the little hummingbirds who came to visit the feeder and the beautiful little garden they have. It was like stepping back in time for two days.
I just have to say more about Nancy and Coach Tommy because they were not your ordinary hosts. They were filled with wonderful stories they shared and just made us feel very special during our stay.
If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, somewhere peaceful and beautiful, somewhere where you feel like family, this is the place for you.
We cannot wait to visit again. Try it. You will be as pleasantly surprised as we were.

We stayed at the Coach House for New Years/Our Anniversary. We couldn't have had a better vacation. Everything went wrong for us in San Angelo, all our plans were epic fails. But getting to come home to the Coach House, and wake up to Nancy's amazing homemade breakfasts, made it all worth it. Nancy and Tom are great people, amazing people, I wish Nancy would have sat down and joined us for breakfast, but she was so busy making sure that everything was perfect for us, and keeping us talking! We plan to go back at least once a year, and next time we are staying in Christoval to enjoy the scenery, the company and the wine!If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, with a free homecooked breakfast, and OMG the absolute most comfortable bed in the world, the Coach House is definitely your place. Nancy invited us back and told us to bring the kids, but I'm thinking this will be mine and my husbands out of town alone time place, I can honestly say I can't think of any other place as comfortable and relaxing as the Coach House when away from home. We can't wait to go back. Thank you guys for making our anniversary so amazing!

Thank you Nancy. I already miss y'all so much. I have to come back, there's still a lot I didn't get done. Who knew doing nothing was so busy! and I couldn't think of a more wonderful place to do it -starting with your wonderful breakfast until I crawled into those sumptuous sheets, every second was fabulous. :) xoxo
