Gracehill, a Bed & Breakfast of Townsend, is award winning and unforgettable, one guest says,"...this is beyond elegant...it's exquisite." One of Townsend, Tennessee’s crown jewels, Gracehill is the highest home in the county, with a 360-degree view of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Gracehill borders on the National Park and your privacy is second only to the view. The atmosphere is gracious, and the amenities are luxurious. A beautiful sunrise, an elegant breakfast, a day spent doing nothing or everything and the romance of watching the sun go down over the mountain ranges of the Great Smokies are all within your reach.
Activities set the stage, nature steals the show. In the middle of a triangle formed by Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Townsend, we are only minutes from all three. In Townsend, the peaceful side of the Smokies, you have the natural beauty and serenity of the Cades Cove entrance to the Smoky Mountains National Park. Hiking, biking, fly-fishing, tubing, caving, strolling the bike trail, and touring the Heritage Museum, spend a day at leisure and feel you have stepped back in time. Heading in the other direction, Gracehill is only eleven miles from a "shop till you drop" experience in Pigeon Forge. Music theaters, outlet malls, and Dollywood are but 20 minutes away.

After hundreds of B&B experiences, we have truly found a must stay experience. Gracehill has everything to offer for all ages of visitors. The rooms had outstanding amenities, comforts, and privacy. The panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains were inspiring and breathe taking especially at sunset. Our host and inn keeper/owner, Kathy was a delight. She was extremely helpful in our getting the most out of our trips with daily-planed outings including time & mileage, reservations at several quality restaurants that rivaled LA, Dallas, or NY, and most importantly things and places not to waist our time or spend money on. She hand-prepared customized breakfasts and was careful to take into consideration dietary or cultural needs of each of her guest. We spent the entire week being completely pampered and at the end of our stay had made a friend, found a home to go back to on future visits, and found we had made the most of our time and money while there. Centrally located in the Smoky Mountains, setting on top of a mountain, this beautifully decorated and landscaped B&B, with a gracious host begs the question; why would you want to stay anywhere else when visiting the great Smoky Mountain National Park.

My wife and I tacked on a night at Gracehill with two friends before heading to Severeville(sp?) and we were thrilled with the ambiance, views, amenities, and friendliness of the inn and its keeper. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable and bedect, the hot tub on the lower deck fit us all in, the views of the mountains and valleys were incredible, and the breakfast was memorable and sumptuous. We loved all the snacks and drinks that were complimentary and most of the home was available for our lounging. Fabulous!!

My best friend and I decided on a quick hiking trip to the Smokies. After some internet research I settled on Gracehill. I've stayed at several b and b's across the country- Gracehill is definitely one of the best in the business. The views, the attention to detail and the hospitality were outstanding. The owner/innkeeper Kathy has created a wonderful place to relax and take in the wonder of the mountains. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the area after experiencing Gracehill. Kudos to Kathy!!!

If you can only stay in one B&B, make it this one. No words or pictures can do it justice. It is not a "stay;" it is an "experience." The accomodations are exquisite, the setting and view are spectacular, and Kathleen, the Innkeeper, is an exceptional person who brings warmth, hospitality and grace to Gracehill!
