The Braeside is a wonderful place to rest and relax. The mountain view is spectacular and the hospitality of our hosts, Tom and Wendy go unsurpassed. We hope to get by that way again, because we would definitely enjoy staying there again.

Our first B&B experience was memorable. The view was fabulous, the rooms comfortable and clean, and the hosts very professional and pleasant. The location was great, just a short drive to the Smoky Mountains.

A Smoky Mountain panorama greeted us as we stepped out of our car at Braeside Inn. It took our breath away. That was a fitting introduction to out stay. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the food was great and the hospitality was outstanding. Tom and Wendy gave us tips and loaned us their hiking poles that helped us explore Smoky Mountain National Park. We've stayed at B&Bs in Hawaii, the Southwest and in the Midwest and this was one of the best. We hope to return one day.

The view from the porch is absolutely fabulous! The innkeepers are very gracious and accomodating! The food was good and the rooms were very clean. Though our room was a tad small, it was better than a hotel room and the view is worth it!!!

My hubby surprised me with a weekend getaway for our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY .... my surprise was the BRAESIDE INN ... and we absolutely enjoyed our stay ... there was not one thing that was a disappointment to us... the Room was BEAUTIFUL the view was also BEAUTIFUL! Along with Wendy's delicious breakfast and evening snacks! We look FORWARD to planning our next stay at the BRAESIDE INN! Thank you Tom and Wendy for all your generous hospitality !

We stayed at the Braeside Inn to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and found our first stay at a B&B to live up to our high expectations. Tom & Wendy made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The view from the back porch of the Great Smoky Mountains was fantastic. The old world Scottish atmosphere which drew us there was so charming.

This is the most outstanding B+B we have ever been to. We brought our bikes and hiking gear but could only tear ourselves from the beautiful view for a 2 hour hike. Wendy and Tom are wonderfully engaging and somehow sensed when we wanted our privacy. Everything about the inn is gorgeous and the breakfast was incredible. We didn't even eat lunch most days! Recently we spent our honeymoon at the Braeside Inn. From the moment we enter the Inn it was a wonderful experience. Breakfast was a favorite time of the day. The food was astonishing and it was great to visit with Tom and Wendy. They made us feel like family and the Inn was our home away from home. The Inn is amazing; from the breathtaking view from the porch to the beautiful design of the Inn. We can’t wait to make our way back!

We had never stayed in a B & B and were pleasantly suprised with our experience. The food was incredible as well as the view from the back deck of the inn. Wendy & Tom were the perfect hosts and made us feel extremely comfortable. We would love to come back in the fall and experience the changing of the leaves as well as the breathtaking views of the Smokies.

Tom & Wendy are very thoughtful people. they made every detail in the house are unforgetable and momorable for my husband and I. Also, we have to point out that the breakfast is the most delicious breakfast we had ever had! it is not just has the wonderful flavor but also it is an artefact. Moreover, the rooms are clearn, especially, every room we can see the Somky Mountain! all over were unexpections for us, hospitable of hosts, atmospheric of room and food and gorgeous of views, and I don't know what I can ask for more!

I met several people on a plane ride to TN to visit my husband, both of which offered "mountainside" accomodations. When I looked up the Braeside Inn, I didn't look any further. It was the most perfect place for my weekend with my husband, and further convinced him B&B's are the way to go. I needed a "porch" over the hotel he'd been staying in, and we got the biggest one yet with the most magnificant views we have ever seen. I won't look any further for a place to stay if we get back there again!

Search no more! My husband and I have stayed at several quality B&B's, and you won't find one better than the Braeside Inn. The location is ideal, the home is lovely, the food is fantastic, and (most importantly) Tom and Wendy are such genuine, warm and gracious hosts who make you feel so glad you came. Just read over all these happy guests' consistently positive reviews – it's all true! You get the best of both worlds: the beauty of nature with luxury amenities, and no detail is overlooked. Just imagine coming “home” after a day of gorgeous hiking to an immaculately-clean room with a bubble-jet tub, remote-controlled gas fireplace, and warm cookies. The mountain view from the porch rockers alone is worth the drive. Tom and Wendy really go out of their way to make each guest feel truly welcome and relaxed. While we'd love to keep this gem of a B&B our own little secret, you really do owe it to yourself to check this one out.

My husband and I were very disappointed that we only had one night to stay in this delightful B&B. It is a welcome alternative to the hustle and bustle of nearby Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg while still being in close proximity to Smoky Mountain National Park. The views are amazing and the hosts are warm and inviting. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends!

this was my first experience at a bed and breakfast, and what an experience! the view was breathtaking and the breakfast was delicious! i was very impressed with how welcoming and hospitable Tom and Wendy were and are. I loved the scottish accent and the decorations in the house. Wonderful atmosphere!! the room was amazing! it was incredibly clean and even smelled wonderful. the fire and the hot tub made my valentine's surprise to my husband perfect!! he was ecstatic and couldn't stop smiling the whole time. and on the way back home we couldn't stop talking about how wonderful our stay was and how soon we could get back. i would give this bed and breakfast 20 stars if i could!! you would be crazy not to pick them!

Our stay with Tom & Wendy was wonderful. They are gracious hosts who keep a beautiful home full of Scottish charm and breathtaking views of the Smokies. The location is perfect--just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge to be quiet and relaxing--but still close enough to enjoy the shopping and nightlife. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. Tom & Wendy do a great job of making you feel at home. The breakfasts were super tasty!--a great start to a day full of hiking and site seeing. We will definately be back and are encouraging our friends and family to visit the Braeside Inn!

My fiance and I stayed at Tom and Wendy's wonderful Inn for two nights, and can't wait to return in the spring! Perched up on top of a hill, the views are breathtaking, the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely clean, and the hosts are more than gracious! The food is delicious - between Wendy's gourmet breakfast items and Tom's homemade bread, you start your day off on the right foot! Pray that you get poached pears - one of the best things I have ever tasted! Once you stay at Braeside, you won't want to stay anywhere else!

We had such a nice time in TN. This Inn was so clean and the atmosphere was very inviting. Tom and Wendy were very welcoming from the time we arrived to the time we left. We felt very comfortable there. The food Wendy made was sooo amazing. We were so impressed with each breakfast we had. The inn keepers made us feel at home. They really do enjoy having guests stay with them. We had a wonderful time overall. This view was incredible and we would stay here again. Great stay.

Our 5th time at the Braeside, and it is always relaxing and fun. We leave the Braeside feeling as if we had a weekend with friends. This visit was another of our anniversaries that we have spent at the Braeside, and it is particularly lovely in the fall. We will return again when we have the time to relax. A must visit for any couple!

The Braeside Inn is the most beautiful B&B we've ever stayed in! We had an incredible time! We relished the quiet and relaxing atmosphere! Everything about the inn, from the fresh baked cookies to the gorgeous views to the delicious breakfast to the warmth and friendliness of Tom and Wendy, was just perfect! We also loved watching the sunrise from our bed! We entered the inn as 2 exhausted parents and left as a refreshed, relaxed still very much in love couple! We will definitely go back!!

We have stayed at many B&B's, from California to Cape May, Delaware and this one was by far the best. The house is stunning, practically new and the interior decorating is so tasteful and classic. The inn maes you feel all the hominess you are looking for, with 5 star surroundings. The view of the mountains is spectacular and you are only about 25 minutes from the mouth of the Smokey Mountain National Park. Breakfasts are what we considered gourmet. You couldn't find more kind and interesting inn keepers. Indulge yourself! The price is right, beating even the small chain hotels down in Gatlinburg.

I take pleasure in planning trips. When I saw the Braeside Inn online, I was excited by the pictures and all the information I found about the Inn and the owners. However, nothing could have prepared us for what awaited at the top of the hill when we arrived. All my expectations in the planning stage were stunningly exceeded as we rounded the corner at the top of the drive. It could not have been more perfect. The Inn is cozy, comfortable, clean, neat, and well-appointed. There are only three guest rooms so it can never be overrun with lots of people. Immediately upon entering, my husband and I felt at home. We spoke of the Inn as "home" the entire three days we were there. The panoramic views of the Smokey Mountains and pasture land were the most dramatic I have ever seen. They have created the perfect viewing location on the expansive back deck with plenty of rocking chairs. I got up 45 minutes before sunrise each day and made sure we were on the deck well before sunset and after so as not to miss the spectacular 'show'. The breakfasts are fantastic and the evening treats an absolute delight. All this warm hospitality flows naturally from the InnKeepers, who are completely dedicated to making your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. They care and it shows in every detail. If you are looking for a truly restful, relaxing trip with views of which you'll never tire, food that is delicious, and a cozy, warm atmosphere, the Braeside Inn has it all! We will return and it can't be soon enough.

If you are interested for an excellent "get-a-way", peace and quiet and are searching for the ultimate restful and relaxing weekend, look no further than "The Braeside Inn". Tom and Wendy are two of the most sincere and welcoming people that you will ever encounter. And the breakfasts! Wow is an understatement. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Braeside and would recommend the inn to travelers. The view and gardens were spectacular and we especially enjoyed all of the hummingbirds we saw from our rocking chairs on the panoramic deck. The room was immaculate and we took advantage of the whirlpool tub to nurse our sore muscles from our long drive that day. The innkeepers made a fabulous homecooked breakfast for our send off - we only wish we could have stayed longer!

This was our second stay at Braeside and it was every bit as great as our Fall visit. Wendy and Tom make you feel at home as soon as you enter their beautiful Inn. Braeside Inn is an amazing escape into paradise. It is exceptionally clean (the white glove test shows it to be c l e a n!) and the innkeepers are a kind , hospitable couple. I loved tea time and all the ammenities and atmosphere. The sun rose right into my bedroom window! and there are no bad views at this gorgeous inn. Every angle affords gorgeous mountain top views. I have stayed in many B&Bs over the years (throughout the nation) and this is one of my all time favorites. For the east TN area, I will always choose Braeside Inn.

Upon arrival at Braeside Inn, Innkeepers Tom and Wendy Lynde met us with open arms. The B&B is complete in every aspect of beauty, comfort, cleanliness, warmth, at-home atmosphere, superb décor, and awesome view of the Smokey Mountains. Wendy’s healthy gourmet breakfasts included fresh baked muffins and fruit breads and Tom’s whole-wheat bread- What a delight! Wendy’s evening dessert treats were a warm and delicious surprise. The view from the spacious front porch is breathtaking. Truly a quiet, restful place to leave work, worries and weariness behind. We enjoyed the interaction with Tom and Wendy, learning about their lives and their dream of owning a B&B in the Smokies. They also provided helpful information and recommendations for easier access and travel routes around town including entertainment to consider. Celebrating our golden wedding anniversary was made even more memorable by our experience at Braeside. Overall experience was accentuated by hospitality, comfort, cleanliness and ambience.

My husband surprised me for my birthday with a weekend getaway to our first B&B...it was amazing! Tom and Wendy are excellent hosts and were great to talk to. Breakfast was delicious both mornings (I am now dying to have her Eggs Benedict again!!) and the dessert in the evening was superb! We will surely be returning for future weekend getaways! Everything was excellent!

Our stay at Tom and Wendy's Inn was positively perfect which is a rarity these days. Many people opt to stay in a hotel near or in Gatlinburg and surrounding areas but it is far more convenient to drive away from the busy park and be welcomed at this charming, cozy Inn in Sevierville where you can unwind and enjoy the hospitality. The best way for me to descrivbe our experience is to say that I felt at home - and I can't imagine anything better than that! Between Wendy's keen eye for decor, Tom's flare in the kitchen, and an impecable panoramic view of the Smokies from our room, our experience was nothing short of unforgettable! We will be back...soon!

This very clean bed and breakfast is stylish and quaint all at the same time. It is nice and new feeling (built only 4 years ago - still looks brand new) and has spectacular views. The owners are warm and hospitable - perfect as innkeepers. The food was great as well - we were so full we ended up skipping lunch. My husband and I like to try new bed and breakfasts and finding wonderful spots like this is the reason why.

Tom and Wendy are wonderful hosts - very amiable and accomodating. The Braeside Inn is beautifully decorated with a Scottish motif and immaculately clean and neat. Wendy is a first class gourmet cook; each breakfast was elegantly served and deliciously wholesome - Tom's home made bread and other personal touches added to the meal. We enjoyed sitting on the wide porch each evening, eating our take-out dinner and watching the sun set . We will definitely return for another relaxing and thoroughly pleasant time.
