Dan & Karen are great hosts and gave us lots of helpful hints. The breakfasts were fabulous as were the cookies and cake in the evening. The location of the lodge was good because it was close enough to walk to downtown but still felt secluded. It was like a home away from home. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone going to Gatlinburg.

We always try to stay at a B&B whenever we travel because we have found that they provide a warmer, more personal experience. Laurel Springs Lodge did not disappoint us. Dan and Karen were helpful even before we checked in, and we felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The Fern Room was the perfect setting to celebrate our 13th anniversary, and the breakfasts were a great way to start our days...especially the stuffed French toast. Their advice and suggestions for getting around town and dining helped to make our visit a lot less stressful. The kindness continued even after our departure when they sent us an item we had left in our room. Laurel Springs Lodge will be our B&B of choice on future visits to Gatlinburg.

We loved everything about Laurel Springs, the location, the hosts, the quaintness of the B&B and the food! It was everything we hoped it would be, and more. Not being hotel people, which are always so impersonal, we found Laurel Springs the complete opposite.
Dan and Karen were excellent hosts and very helpful.
We wish them every success with their B&B. In our opinion they cannot fail!
We will not hesitate to recommend Laurel Springs to anyone who is travelling to the area.

Nice quiet place, close to downtown Gatlinburg, TN. We had excellant breakfast's. Our host were helpful in sightseeing around Gatlinburg. Located on a quiet side street. Would definitely stay here again.

Dan and Karen were so friendly and helpful; we could not have asked for nicer hosts! This was my boyfriends first time in a B & B. When I first suggested in staying in a B & B he didn’t like the idea, but after our stay at Laurel Springs I think it is a type of travel accommodation we will use on a regular basis.
The actual house is so cozy and comfortable. Sitting in the hot tub or out in the gazebo feels very private and quite, but the house is in easy walking distance to down town Gatlinburg. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I have stayed at the lodge in the past as well and it is always a wonderful treat. This time, we chose to stay at the lodge during our wedding week. We knew the food would be outstanding as always, the service perfectly hospitable, and the room beautiful as ever. Dan and Karen made our wedding week the picture of perfection and we will be back many, many times throughout out future as a married couple. In comparison to other B&B's we've frequented, we would highly recommend this one to anyone looking for a decadently relaxing experience.

Our room--the Botanical--was lovely & we had a great stay there. Enjoyed the selection of dvds & videos to watch, & the outside hottub at night was great, & quite relaxing. Hated to leave the Lodge, & we'll be coming back this mid Dec. for another 2 nights--can't wait! --David W.

My husband and I stopped for one night on our way to Asheville,NC, we soon agreed we would of loved to stayed longer at Laurel Springs! We were both very impressed when we arrived ... the location and beauty of this B&B! Also as we got out of our car we were greeted and helped with our luggage upstairs by Dan. Karen was so friendly as well and made us feel welcome and right at home. Our room was the River Room #3 which was so nice and clean with a nice comfy bed and had everything we needed! The next morning Karen cooked a great breakfast and Dan was a wonderful server. We are looking forward to a return visit in 2009 sometime! I would highly recommend this B & B while visiting the Gatlinburg area! God Bless and our Best Wishes to Dan & Karen! Kathy and Gerald Yates

My wife and I decided to try a new city and a new B&B for a small trip away from the hectic work week. We picked a great place in both respects. The town is a bit touristy in a fun way, but also is surrounded by the Smoky Mountain National Park. Great for hiking and watching bears! But overall the inn made the trip. It is was in walking distance of most all of the main attractions of this town, but just off the main thoroughfare enough that you felt like you were in a secluded quiet wooded setting. The innkeepers, Karen and Dan, were full of advice and very friendly. The room was comfortable and the food was excellent. We had blueberry cream cheese crepes one morning...and some tasty banana bread the next among other delectable foods...nothing to heavy, but enough to energize you for a trip to the aquarium or a hike in the park.

There are not enough positive statements which could be made about this lodge and its innkeepers, Karen and Dan. They made sure that absolutely everything was perfect for us. The location is so convenient to downtown Gatlinburg, the lodge and facilities are outstanding, and each guest is made to feel perfectly comfortable in all respects. My only problem was that more was served for breakfast than I should have eaten!

This was our first time at a B&B, and we definitely got spoiled from the start. The innkeepers, Karen and Dan, were doing whatever it took to make our stay and our vacation a success. The house is romantic, well maintained, quiet, and ideally located within walking distance to shopping, dining, and entertainment, yet enough secluded to allow for relaxation. Karen cooks a delicious and creative breakfast, which she kindly adapts to individual preferences, and Dan serves it with charm. They are very helpful with tips and hints, to find our way around, make dining choices, etc. Everything we could have needed for an all-around pleasant stay was provided in great style and with friendly and personal attention to detail. The perfect place to stay. Garth and Belinda were gracious hosts, the house was very comfortable, and the food was excellent. The Lodge is close enough to downtown to walk, yet far enough away to feel as if you are in the country. I will definetly be staying there again!!
