Located in Gatlinburg, TN, Laurel Springs Lodge and Bed & Breakfast is a 1930’s lodge B&B near the Smoky Mountains and Pigeon Forge. We are 30 miles from the University of Tennessee, great for that weekend getaway to visit your student at UT or take in a home game. The Laurel Springs Lodge B&B is minutes from horseback riding, golfing, skiing, rafting, Ober Gatlinburg, and Dollywood. We’re only 3 miles from the Smoky Mountain National Park, and 5 miles from Pigeon Forge. The bed and breakfast is located in town, two blocks from the parkway and light number two. You can take the trolley from that intersection, or take an easy walk into downtown. Our setting is a secluded, wooded hillside, overlooking the Little Pigeon River. Gatlinburg is one of the top Honeymoon destinations in the U.S. and Laurel Springs Lodge is a wonderful setting for your small wedding or reception.
The Lodge was built in 1932 and it operated as Miss McCalley’s boarding house for a number of its early years. It has been totally renovated inside to bring you modern conveniences without ruining the original ambiance. Laurel Springs Lodge B&B is very comfortable with a living room that is rustic with knotty pine walls, leather and wood seating, and a large stacked stone wood burning fireplace. The front porch is enclosed, one end is used for breakfast and the other has a wicker seating area, with a game table in the middle. We have a small but eclectic library, and numerous board games.
The gazebo is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. We are 200 feet from the Little Pigeon River, which is stocked with Trout each Thursday! Our breakfasts are Country cuisine, served on the dining porch (not buffet style) from 8:00 to 9:30 am.
The B&B has five guest rooms, all with private baths and bath robes, cable TV, VCR and DVD players, premium linens, and botanical bath products. Enjoy the "Old World" Smoky Mountain ambiance in our totally renovated historic home. We have air conditioning, updated plumbing, four person hot tub, and free wireless internet. |

My husband and I have been married only 6 weeks, and my parents gave us a two-day getaway at Laurel Springs. We loved it! The accommodations were great, breakfast was SO delicious we just had to ask for the recipes, and Dan & Karen were as friendly and helpful as could be. They gave us tips on where to hike and what to enjoy in Gatlinburg, as well as where to shop for a few items we needed. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks on the gazebo, too. My husband looks forward to staying here again the next time we visit the area, and he thinks it'd be a great family reunion spot. I agree.

An absolutely great experience! My wife and I traveled to Gatlinburg to relax in and explore the Great Smoky Mountains. After a great deal of research, we chose to stay at Laurel Springs Lodge and are glad we did! From the moment we arrived at the lodge, Dan and Karen were consistently friendly and accomodating innkeepers. In every instance, it was clear they take pride in their inn and the services they offer to their guests. Whether it be their sincere welcome upon our arrival, the comfortable, cozy suite, the warm fireplace in the lodge's great room, the excellent breakfasts in a windowed perch above the trees, the sightseeing suggestions and maps, or the romantic hot tub on the stone-covered patio, we lacked for nothing! We definately recommend Laurel Springs Lodge.

This place was amazing! Not only were Karen and Dan so welcoming, but the place itself was so welcoming you didn't want to leave. The food was awesome! We loved sitting outside in the hammock swings and getting in the hot tub at night. We will definitely be staying here next year on our anniversary.

What a perfect weekend getaway. The Dogwood Suite was immaculate and extremely comfortable -- exactly what we were looking for. The main area of town is only a short walk and we actually never even moved our car from check-in to check-out.
Breakfast was exceptional, and the hosts (Dan & Karen) are the model for B&B owners -- polite, friendly, outgoing (I could go on and on).
This is definitely the place to stay in Gatlinburg.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Laurel Springs B&B. It was my husband's first time at a B&B and my first time choosing one! We were so surprised by how intimate the house felt but also the amount of privacy. Dan and Karen were fantastic hosts, gave great recommendations for food and ziplining and supplied us with a few coupons. They were friendly and available but not overbearing. I would suggest Laurel Springs to any B&B goer!

This is the nicest b&b I've ever stayed in! The owners are so polite & make your stay truly like being at a home away from home (the food is truly "out of this world" good). I will definitely stay there again & have suggested it to many others as well.

My husband and I always love our stays at Laurel Springs Lodge. It is in a bit of a wooded area so you get the fresh air, feel the essence of the mountains and get the peace that you crave by getting away from it all. But it is close enough to the downtown Gatlinburg area that we can walk into town, make a short drive to Pigeon Forge or even into the park. We love everything that Laurel Springs has to offer; wonderful rooms, cozy common rooms & fireplace , a relaxing hot tub, outstanding breakfasts and of course a serene setting. We always look forward to getting away from the grind and enjoying a romantic weekend for the two of us. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone who is wanting a getaway in the mountains.

My husband and I were fortunate to spend 4 nights at Laurel Springs Lodge during their busiest week of the year (between Christmas and New Years). They had received very good reviews, and it is easy to see why. Located in Gatlinburg, just two blocks from Parkway and the trolley, it is a convenient walk or ride downtown. Nestled on a wooded hillside, overlooking Little Pigeon River, the location affords gorgeous and relaxing views. The lodge itself was a unique experience...like stepping back into time. Although renovated to include modern conveniences, it still boasts the rustic charm of a solid wood beamed ceiling, a large stone fireplace, hardwood floors, and beautiful antiques. Karen and Dan are the perfect hosts and they keep the place spotless. All smiles, they carried every bit of our luggage in and out (and we had a lot)! They instructed us to use a buzzer to signal them if we needed anything. Yet they anticipated every need, making the buzzer unnecessary. Mornings at the lodge means waking to the smell of breakfast cooking—made to order from a wide variety of options. Dan and Karen cook and serve it up in their classy dining area, where each table has its own window. The breakfasts and afternoon and evening snacks were totally scrumptious! We found it hard to leave, but, hopefully, we can return, possibly in the spring when the hills will be in full bloom.
