In the heart of Clarksville, Tennessee, stands the Magnolia House Bed and Breakfast Luxury Suites. This conveniently located historic residence is one of the last of its kind, having been built in the early 1940s by tobacco businessman Kendrick Rudolph. It features a variety of hardwoods throughout in arched doorways, crown molding, wainscoting, hand-carved cherry wood china cabinet, and floors. There is an exquisite wrought iron staircase leading to the second floor, as well as a sloped copper awning over the side porch.
Magnolia House offers 2 elegantly appointed, superbly comfortable suites on the second floor and a full breakfast is provided each morning. For business travelers there are conference room facilities for small meetings or depositions. The inn has wireless internet throughout for those wanting to stay connected.
After settling in at the Magnolia house, relax by the fire, or enjoy our gazebo or hammock that features beautiful, breathtaking views. If you’re looking for exciting activities, our historical downtown area is only one mile away and is an easy walk, if desired. Get away from chain restaurants by dining at the several excellent restaurants within a mile of our inn. The Governor’s Square Mall with many fine restaurants and shops is approximately a five-mile drive. Also the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center and The Roxy Regional Theatre are close by. Customs House Museum is the state's second largest museum with over 35,000 square feet of the region’s best hands-on activities and special events. We have it all at the Magnolia House Bed & Breakfast.

We enjoyed the Magnolia House B&B. It was excellent. We are planning are next stay presently. RUSS & MARGARET were the perfect hosts. We are constantly talking about how wonderful the stay was. As we are anxious for our next stay. When we were at Austin Peay University Homecoming Parties, everyone spoken about What a great choice to stay at Magnolia House. The community loves the Magnolia House events. I thought I was stepping into a SOUTHERN LIVING Magazine picture, when I entered the home.

Our son is a soldier stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. We found Magnolia House three years ago and thanks to Margaret (the owner), spent a wonderful weekend there with him right before he deployed for the first time. This year we decided it would be a perfect place to welcome him back from his second deployment and it certainly was. Magnolia House has an elegant southern charm to it and is extremely comfortable at the same time. We booked both rooms for our welcoming party of four and had the house to ourselves. Our son's arrival was delayed several times. Being on hold in a hotel room would have been extremely difficult. Passing time at Magnolia House was like waiting at home. Once our soldier arrived we were able to have him stay with us in a home-like stress free environment. It was perfect for his homecoming! Though Margaret was on vacation at the time of this stay, we found her assistant Janet, equally gracious, friendly and capable in the kitchen. We absolutely recommend Magnolia House and will check availability there first should we ever have a need to be at Ft. Campbell again!

We loved the privacy and comfort and beauty of our accommodations. The breakfasts were delicious and the "cook" was wonderful. We had a special and memorable time. Great way to celebrate 50 years of marriage!

This was the perfect getaway after my spouse returned from a deployment. After all of the traveling I wanted us to enjoy a quiet, but elegant environment. The Magnolia House exceeded our expectations. The luxurious suites, delectable food choices, warm hospitality, pampering and unlimited. privacy. Magnolia House Bed & Breakfast is definitely a reason not to pay hotel fees. The service can not be duplicated. Simply Elegant!!!

Magnolia House was interesting, lovely, and comfortable. Most of all Margaret Welker was a charming hostess. The breakfast was "outstanding" because we eat a simple breakfast and she furnished that for us. I am sure if our desire was for a gournet breakfast she would have had that for us. We would love to return.

This is a wonderful place for our first BnB stay. Margaret is a gracious host. It was more like being a guest in her home than being a customer. Having only two suites adds to the family atmosphere. I most highly recommend Magnolia House in Clarksville.
