If you're looking for a retreat to get-a-way, relax, & unwind, this is the place! Besides the fact that it is right in the quaint historic town of Summerville, it is also a short drive to downtown Charleston. My husband & I went there for a weekend get-a-way to rest & relax and that's exactly what we did. Marilyn & Jerry were wonderful, it seemed like we had know them for years and they made our stay a perfect one. We really enjoyed the pool, since it was during the summer & the breakfast was like you'd experience at a 5 Star Restuarant! We truly were blessed by our weekend and for getting to know such a wonderful and giving couple.

Absolutely stay with Marilyn and Jerry. They are a lovely, geniune, generous couple. My 2 daughters and I were on a quest to find an apartment for the oldest as she is moving to the area for a teaching job, Marilyn helped us out with suggestions as where to look, sales at "Linens and Things" to purchase household items she will need, restaurants to try in Summerville that the locals frequent, beaches to see, walking routes, and fun activites to do while visiting downtown Charleston. We did it all! The housekeeping is pristine. The breakfasts were ALL wonderful, much attention is given to the guests. We had fun, relaxed and made new friends. A pleasure for sure. Oh, the pool is great, too, to cool off in after shopping and all the decision making we had to do. Beds are comfortable, the house is quiet. We will be back!

We had a very comfortable room with many amenities. The hosts were very friendly and attentive to our needs.
