If you would like to stay in a home with history among other homes hundreds of years old, then Palmer's Pinckney Inn has the perfect room for you. Even on a budget, the Cottage Room can meet all your needs. Connie welcomed us with southern charm and hospitality and Cindy was just as friendly and informative on the second day. It's located near Old Towne Carriage Tours who gave an excellent tour of the city by carriage. The kitchen at the inn was stocked with snacks, drinks, water, and even ice cream. Coffee was ready at 8:00 a.m. every morning along with delightful pastries, but a short walk or car ride every morning would take you to the sister property known as the Palmer House for a hot southern style breakfast of grits, cheesy eggs, crispy fried bacon and all the fixin's. You could dine inside and see Charleston Harbor out the picturesque windows or you could stroll on out to the porch and enjoy your breakfast watching the joggers and walkers out on the promenade. This location was near restaurants, the Market, and within walking distance of many historical sites. Enjoy the Pinckney Inn for what it is - a stay at a historical home that allows you to enjoy the history of this beautiful city.

The home is beautiful and the owners are very accomodating, not fussing over the guests or their home. I would definately like to return for another stay.
