If you are looking for comfort, nestled in the "backyard" of Newports' Mansion District then this is the place to be. Small rooms each with a kitchenette and private entrance and your very own patio area to sit, sip and dream in the ocean air. Also a handy place to park your towel as you splash in the sparkling inground pool. Breakfast is full and artistically presented at your door each morning. Fresh herbs and flowers adorn the tray. And if traveling with your furry friend (four legged types are warmly welcomed too!) a surprise is included for them as well. Rates are reasonable, and in off season reduced as a BYOB (Bring your Own Breakfast) special. Murray House does not have the glitz and aires of the "fancy" establishments. It is a place where you open the door to your room, kick off your shoes, smile at the whimsical decor, sit with a bounce on the comfy bed and feel that sense of "Ahhhhhhh".
