Located on prestigious Touro Street in the Historic Hill area of Newport, Rhode Island, Abigail Stoneman Inn is within walking distance of most Newport attractions and two blocks from Newport's famous harbor front, with its many historic sites, restaurants, shops and galleries. Conveniently located but quietly ensconced in an elegant setting. Within our own block are historic Touro Synagogue (America's first synogogue), the Newport Historical Society (in one of Newport's famous old buildings) and other architecturally important historic buildings, restored to their Victorian and Colonial splendors, lighted by the antique gas street lights that illuminate Touro Street.

A picture is worth a thousand words when it comes to Vanity Fair Suite. The whirlpool room is dramatically set in a huge bay window, surrounded by green marble. The tub for 2 faces out toward a large gas fireplace. You may never leave.

A dramatic spiral stairway entry foyer leads you up from the second floor to the Above and Beyond Deluxe Suite on the third floor -- the entire third floor. You enter Above through a British library. Surrounding you on all sides is an exquisite collection of hundreds of historic books, framed in rich mahogany paneling.

Sun-drenched, 3 room suite on the second-floor with 10-foot high ceilings and tall windows throughout. The bedroom features a king Victorian mansion bed, large gas fireplace with library mantle, and a marble-surrounded whirlpool for 2, wrapped by an airy bay window nook. A connecting hallway opens into a large living room with roll arm sofa, chairs, cocktail table, large gas fireplace, and a stunning, one-of-a-kind antique, floor-to-ceiling, Victorian mirror cabinet.

Tea and Sympathy State Room
The Tea and Sympathy State Room features king high-back Lincoln bed, sitting area with 2 chairs, marble-surrounded gas fireplace, 10-foot high ceilings, and iPod-enabled sound system with built-in room speakers. Accented in creamy yellows and blues, the marble bathing salon features a double whirlpool tub, pedestal sink, and separate shower. Located on the second floor.
