The Pilgrim House Inn Bed & Breakfast, on historic Spring Street, in Newport, Rhode Island is an elegant old-world hotel in the heart of this fabled port city. The minute you walk into the Pilgrim House Inn, you will have Newport at your feet. The history of the century-old mansard roof mansion parallels the history of Newport. The house is part of the fabric of the city. The Pilgrim House is in the center of a district known as Historic Hill. It is a few doors down from the restored Trinity Church and is surrounded by buildings from the 1800's that have remained largely unchanged for the past 150 years.

Once at the Pilgrim House, you might not need your car again. Sightseeing shuttles are plentiful and close by, as are launches that carry music lovers to festivals at Fort Adams. The shops and restaurants that line the harbor are one block away. The beginning of Mansion Row on Bellevue Avenue is just five minutes by foot. Five minutes from that is the beginning of Cliff walk, which offers a perfect spot to watch surfers at play on Second Beach and a millionaire's view of the ocean.

We look forward to your visit!

First time in Newport, my wife and I wee there to attend a wedding. The wedding party made reservations for several B&B's so we selected The Pilgrim House Inn. The location is fantastic, close to the harbor, easy walking distance to just about everywhere. Parking was conveniently close. The view from the outside patio puts you in the mood for this seaside location. The room we were in was a bit tight with two queen beds, but we were lucky to get a room at all (must book early). Loved the antique furniture, and the innkeepers Barry and Debbie will make great recommendations for dining and entertaining.
