The minute you walk into the Pilgrim House Inn, you will have Newport at your feet. The history of the century-old mansard roof mansion parallels the history of Newport. The house is part of the fabric of the city.The Pilgrim House is in the center of a district known as Historic Hill. Five minutes from that is the beginning of Cliffwalk, which offers a perfect spot to watch surfers at play on Second Beach and a millionaire's view of the ocean.
