The Marshall Slocum Inn is an historic 1855 bed and breakfast located within walking distance of all that Newport has to offer. Decorated in federalist style decor, the inn abounds in nautical antiques and colonial charm. Choose from one of our five elegantly appointed guest rooms and enjoy the 1.5 acres of grounds after a day touring Newport. A full breakfast prepared fresh daily by our chef is served on our large back deck overlooking the gardens or room service style in your guest room. Parking and wireless internet is included with rates.

Amazing does not even begin to describe the wonderful experience we had staying at the Marshall Slocum. Julie and Joan go well beyond what you'd expect to make your stay one that you will cherish always, way to go ladies!

This inn is excellent. The decor, food, hospitality, and location each make this bed and breakfast one of the very best in Newport.

It was very comfortable with no stuffiness. Felt very homey. Innkeepers were great, could walk to everything and the food was so good.

Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Room was immaculate. Package deal was the way to go - the things we really wanted to see and do were all put together for us!

Dear Julie:
Many thanks for making our stay at your Inn so nice. It was a new experience for us and we agree that we would certainly B&B again. Your Inn is very relaxing and quiet. We also enjoyed meeting and visiting with the other guests. And the weather couldn't have been better. The only negative is that now I want to redecorate! We hope to see you again. There is plenty to do and see in Newport.
Oh, yes, once I lose the pounds gained over the weekend, I want to bake your special cookies. Thanks again! Virginia
