Nestled in the heart of Montreal, Canada and only walking distance from downtown, night life, parks, and restaurants, the Gingerbread Manor Bed & Breakfast is a genuine Victorian manor house built in 1885 and located on the edge of the Plateau, one of North America's hippest neighborhoods. Romantic couples, vacationers and families will enjoy comfortable guest beds with private bath. Bathrooms are equipped with modern amenities including a water closet, bath and shower. We pride ourselves on our daily gourmet breakfast which you can enjoy at your leisure while chatting with other guests, watching TV, listening to music, or planning your busy day in Montreal.
On St-Denis and St-Laurent you will find even more restaurants, fantastic cafés and night clubs. Right next is the village, the Latin Quarter and downtown Montreal with some of the greatest shopping and Montreal's famous underground city. A twenty minute stroll will bring you to Old Montreal and the old port. Close to the Sherbrooke metro station, day and night buses and Bixi (bike rental.) The inn is about thirty-five minutes from Montreal-Trudeau airport by car and 15 minutes from the central bus/train station. We are steps away from Square St. Louis and the Prince Arthur pedestrian mall with it's BYOB (bring your own bottle) restaurants. |
