This Victorian home was constructed in 1884 and has been lovingly restored and furnished. Our Inn is located only two blocks from the center of historic Charlottetown, an easy walk to parks, museums, art galleries, theatres, boutiques, restaurants and two waterfronts. We are a scenic half-hour drive to the north shore and Cavendish Beach whilst 16 golf courses are within 45 minutes drive.
The house was built by prominent local builder William H. Fraser in either Romanseque Revival or Second Empire Mansard Style - depending on who you ask. The single fronted 3 story style has a mansard roof with protruding third floor windows. Prominent bay windows grace the front rooms on the first and second floor. Over the years there have been five additions to the property - all towards the rear of the original structure.
All room rates shown are high season for one or two guests per room. Lower rates apply to low and shoulder seasons. An additional $20 per person per night is charged for up to three additional guests in the Loft Housekeeping Suite. None of our other rooms can accommodate more than two guests. |
