Welcome to the 1836 Bridgeton House on the Delaware, Bucks County, PA's premier bed & breakfast offering fine lodging only 25 minutes north of historic New Hope, in Upper Black Eddy. Beautifully situated on the banks of the Delaware River, Bridgeton House is stunningly decorated in arts and crafts style with four posters, private baths, fireplaces, French doors leading to private balconies, river views -- A romantic get-away with corporate practicality. This charming bed and breakfast is a small, shuttered, brick Inn that combines French country charm with American simplicity. A labor of love by Bea and Charles Briggs has turned this onetime wreck of an 1836 house into a glorious, romantic riverside Bed and Breakfast Inn.
You'll find the Inn on River road, in the quaint village of Upper Black Eddy. River Road was voted one of the top ten scenic drives in the nation, and the river received the Federal Wildlife Designation that will protect it for years to come. Most rooms have French doors leading to private riverfront balconies where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The most requested room is the luxurious Penthouse, a spacious 900 sq. ft. suite with a wall of windows overlooking the magnificent Delaware River.
