Kellygreen Bed & Breakfast is located in Tionesta, PA, a small town on the bank of the Allegheny River and just a few miles outside of the Allegheny National Forest. Combine this with the Tionesta Lake and Flood Control Dam at the edge of town and you have your choice of outdoor activities. Whether you like to hike, bike, boat, canoe, fish, hunt, cross-country ski, bird-watch, ride horses or just want to relax, this is the place. The area boasts several annual events and festivals year-round. In October the lush hills surrounding Tionesta are ablaze with fall color and full of craft fairs. The area's beautiful scenery has inspired artists, poets and writers for over one hundred and fifty years.

Kellygreen is two and a half hours north of Pittsburgh, and one and a half hours southeast of Erie. This historic town of 600 people offers a quiet and relaxed get-away for all ages with a variety of shopping and dining in or near town. Forest County has no TV or radio stations, one weekly newspaper and no traffic lights! At the center of all the area has to offer, Kellygreen provides beautiful and comfortable rooms, a delicious breakfast in an 1886 Victorian setting.

History is big here and Tionesta is host to the Forest County History Center and Museum. This historic home, under restoration, has displays that would appeal to everyone's interests and hosts Civil War re-enactments by the Tionesta Rangers. Visitors will also find many antique-shopping opportunities and an abundance of historic architecture in the area. The future Hunting & Fishing Museum of Pennsylvania will soon be built at Kellygreen's back door. This facility will offer hands-on opportunities for adults and children with a focus on education in history, natural resources and sport safety.

While staying at Kellygreen guests will enjoy sitting on the large front porch, visiting with other guests, reading, or just watching the world go by. The large Foyer has a sofa and chairs for relaxing and the library offers reading material or satellite TV. Upstairs a variety of magazines and word puzzle books are available as well as a small refrigerator for guest use. Of the five guestrooms two have private 1/2 baths (sink & toilet) and three share the main bath. There is also an additional bathroom with a sink and shower.

The lawn offers several flower gardens, some under construction, and the newest, is ideal for sitting quietly or having a picnic. Teas are held on the lawn and in the house several times a year. Kellygreen is also available for small weddings or showers and is open year-round.
