Welcome to the Bella Vista Bed and Breakfast Inn located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our guests always leave amazed at how welcome they feel while spending their vacation, romantic holiday or business trip in Philadelphia at our bed & breakfast with us. The Bella Vista B&B of Philadelphia, PA is just a short stroll to many of the city’s historic sites, museums, the central business district, the Pennsylvania Convention center, Antique row, and the Avenue of the Arts which boast the Kimmel Center, the Wilma Theater, and the Academy of Music.

You will relax and enjoy the good life in one of our wonderful and entirely self-contained private suites or lovely private rooms. Our suites include all of the many fine room amenities plus a charming living room with sleeper love seat, antique furnishings and a spacious ultra modern eat-in kitchen with a dish washer, garbage disposal, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, fine china service for six, toaster, blender, mixer, a complete array of cooking utensils, pots, pans, and casserole dishes all fit for a gourmet cook.

Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations are subject to a $25 per room(s) cancellation fee. Cancelling a reservation of 1 to 7 days requires notice of not less than 7 days prior to the check in date. A cancellation notice given less than 7 days prior to the arrival date will cause the perspective guest to be responsible for full payment of the booking unless the room is rebooked. Cancelling a reservation of 7 to 30 days requires a minimum of not less than 14 days prior notice to the arrival date. A cancellations notice given less than 14 days prior to the arrival date will cause the perspective guest to be charged for payment of the first week of the reservation. There after, deposits will be refunded less a processing fee if the room is rebooked. *From May 1 to May 30 all cancellations require 30 day’s notice. Early departures are responsible for the full reservation

My wife and I stayed in the Oasis suite on a cold, snowy night in December. Sometime in the middle of the night the heat failed and we woke up at 4 or 5 AM freezing. There were no clean dishes or coffee cups (the dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes). When we left at 11:00 AM the sidewalk and front steps were still covered with snow. If you're accustomed to nice B&B's, steer clear of this one; you will be disappointed.

The 19th of December 2009 Philadelphia had the worst snow storm since the blizzard of 1993. The walks and steps were shoveled 3 times but at 1 to 2 inches per hour it is diffcult to keep them clean. There was no attempt by the guest to contact us about any problem with the heat. Our rooms are seperately heated and cooled. When I inspected the room that morning it was 75 degrees. Perhaps being from Florida that was freezing to them. We make every effort to insure that our gust have a enjoyable experiance. Guest are told at check in to please let us know if there is any problem and we will do everthing in our power to solve it.
