The Morris House built in 1787 and located in Philadelphia, PA is by far the most handsome brick residence in the city true to its original design. As the only hotel in Center City Philadelphia with a private garden, we specialize in hosting small weddings, bar mitzvahs, corporate retreats, meetings and events of all kinds and children are welcome. The Morris House is a window into the colonial past.

Each of the fifteen rooms is decorated with individual charm and remarkable attention to detail. Amenities include private bathrooms with a shower and/or bath, air conditioning, phones, TV/DVD, and hairdryers. Our guests can enjoy the most beautiful garden view in the city from many of our rooms. This registered national historic landmark has been renovated into a luxury boutique hotel which offers the coziness of a bed and breakfast, in an 18th century setting, combined with the luxuries of today.
