Our experience with the Orris House Inn was incredibly wonderful! I've stayed in B&B's nationally and internationally, and can honestly say, although they are always pleasurable, none have compared to this home. It was a combination of the specialness of the house, with the absolute pampering care by the inn keeper, that made this the "cream of the crop" stay for us. |

The Orris House Inn is a wonderful property! Inn Keeper Kevin Jackson was extremely gracious and had great tips for local eateries and sights. The breakfasts, wine and cheese and home-made treats made us feel like VIP guests. The furnishings throughout the home were lovely. The beds were very comfy and the library complete. The Orris House Inn is a great place to escape to, we only wish we would've spent more time in our rooms and enjoying the property. We can't wait to return! |

Innkeepers Barbara and Kevin Jackson provide a luxurious but warm and relaxed experience. They have artists' eyes for landscaping, decor, collecting, entertaining and an overall visual and sensual experience. Their breakfasts, snacks and desserts are outstanding and they are great conversationalists. This is the best B&B we have ever stayed at and we look forward to returning. |

I can't say enough about the Orris House Inn! I am a Philadelphia based filmmaker with roots in Mechanicsburg. When I learned of the Inn, I called Innkeeper Kevin Jackson and asked for a tour to see if the location was right for a film I was about to shoot. It was perfect! The atmosphere was outstanding and it's style astonishing! Kevin was a more than gracious host to myself and my cast and crew. We used four rooms of the Inn and all look exquisite on film! Definitely a stop for anyone who is having an event or needs to stay in Mechanicsburg! |

This was a lovely, inviting, architecturally accurate bed and breakfast. The attention to detail is impressive. It is a true Victorian paradise with warmth and hospitality. Everything from the restored home to its furniture and William Morris wallpaper enchants the eye. The linens and towels are luxurious. The breakfasts/brunches are delicious. Kevin Jackson, the Innkeeper, is a wonderful host. He and his wife, Barbara, have turned their home into an inviting destination. I will go back as often as I can. |

I hosted my wedding and reception at the Inn. Kevin, the Innkeeper, went beyond what I expected. He provided fresh flowers, freshly baked cookies and brownies, assistance with finding a pianoist and assistance with parking. Kevin opened his Inn up to us all as though we were part of his family. It was better than staying at a 4 star resort! |

For an Historically amazing, beautiful, and wonderful experience, Mr Jackson's hospitality was of close knit family quality. I was in attandance for the wedding of my Godson's father. I was hard pressed to decide if the majority of pictures I took should have been focused upon wedding activities or sheer beauty of architcture and owner's attention to period details. I have over 400 photos, in all, between both. I am sure I snapped most of these wandering from room to room, amazing floor to amazing floor! The wedding scenes just add to the sheer beauty and ambiance. If you visit Mechanicsburg, and you stay anywhere else, you are sorely missing out on the best of B&B experiences! The Florida Room, where breakfasts are served, must be an orgasm for the eyes when the gardens are in full bloom! We were all there when winter's snow provided a fresh and sterile blanket upon the ground. The entire wedding party lingered long in this awesome space long after the meal was finished, and dishes were done. I'd go back in a heartbeat! Kevin, you have any permanent spaces available for rent?
