This exquisite Second Empire mansion was built in 1887 as the private home of wheelwright Adam Orris and is a registered National Historic Landmark. Rich in original detail, the bed & breakfast inn retains its original woodwork, banisters, pocket doors, mantels and crystal chandeliers. In order to preserve the stately grandeur of the home, the innkeeper has chosen to keep most rooms furnished in accordance with their original purpose—as parlors, music rooms, dining rooms and libraries. All of these rooms are appointed in period antiques and are open for inn guests to enjoy.

Orris House Inn is a intimate property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. A one night or 50% deposit is due upon reservation. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 10 (ten) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation and authorize a 10% processing fee.
