Orris House Inn is Mechanicsburg's best kept secret! We're sure the secret is getting out to all of us around the town and surrounding areas. When we first visited Orris Inn, we were instantly sure that this would be the location for our daughter's wedding with the beautiful gardens, lovely patio area and exquisite and yet homey bedrooms. Proprietor Kevin and his wife Barbara went beyond our expectations as they paid special attention to details we wouldn't have even considered. We're so proud to know that there is a lovely, yet very accessible B&B in our town. Our daughter and her husband look forward to return visits to Orris.

My stay at the Orris House Inn was part of a girls' getaway weekend. This would have been a luxury all by itself, but the Inn completely finished off the perfect weekend. It is beautifully and lovingly restored home which welcomes you at every turn. I love to cook as much as I enjoy having breakfast made for me, and I have to admit it is half of why I return certain B&Bs. Outside of my kitchen or my mom's kitchen, I have never had such a delicious enormous breakfast as I had at the Orris House. It is on my list for repeat stays!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful inn. The innkeeper and his wife were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to please. The outside yard is just as gorgeous as the inside of the restored inn. Breakfast was delicious and full of laughter and fun. It was a very decadent stay. I felt very pampered and taken care of and hope to return again some day.

My college girlfriends and I planned a girls weekend away at the Inn and couldnt have been happier with the accomodations. We came back to the Inn after an afternoon of visiting local wineries to a wonderfully prepared dinner by Lois from My Chef Dujour. We dined under the stars in the beautiful gardens. After that we all joined in for some salsa dancing lessons that were an absolute blast! We chatted all evening- got caught up on each other's lives and toured Barbara's amazing jewerly studio. Everyone commented on thier great night sleep and how wonderful it was to wake up to freshly made coffee waiting outside our rooms instread of waking up to kids on the bed (like at home!). We all enjoyed breakfast which was made to order ( not common in B&Bs). it was a great weekend away and we all were made to feel like royality while being away from the hustle of everyday life! I would highly reccommend doing a girls weekend at the Orris House Inn

A completely enjoyable experience. Everything was excellent. Our stay was memorable for several reasons. 1) The house is amazing; carefully remodeled and historically accurate. 2) The food - oh my gosh. Wonderful. 3) The owners, Kevin and Barbara, are fascinating, gracious, generous, humorous, knowledgeable and full of energy. Give the Orris House Inn a try and you will want to return.

The Best House Ever!!!
We liked the inn because it has chocolates and it was very fun. Me and my grandma stayed in two big rooms. Me and mom were comfortable while we watched TV. The closets have lots of towels and soaps. We are six year old twins and our mom helped us write this email. Kevin and Barbara even know who the Cheetah Girls are. They rock and so does Pennsylvania.

Our experience with the Orris House Inn was incredibly wonderful! I've stayed in B&B's nationally and internationally, and can honestly say, although they are always pleasurable, none have compared to this home. It was a combination of the specialness of the house, with the absolute pampering care by the inn keeper, that made this the "cream of the crop" stay for us.

The Orris House Inn is a wonderful property! Inn Keeper Kevin Jackson was extremely gracious and had great tips for local eateries and sights. The breakfasts, wine and cheese and home-made treats made us feel like VIP guests. The furnishings throughout the home were lovely. The beds were very comfy and the library complete. The Orris House Inn is a great place to escape to, we only wish we would've spent more time in our rooms and enjoying the property. We can't wait to return!

Innkeepers Barbara and Kevin Jackson provide a luxurious but warm and relaxed experience. They have artists' eyes for landscaping, decor, collecting, entertaining and an overall visual and sensual experience. Their breakfasts, snacks and desserts are outstanding and they are great conversationalists. This is the best B&B we have ever stayed at and we look forward to returning.

I can't say enough about the Orris House Inn! I am a Philadelphia based filmmaker with roots in Mechanicsburg. When I learned of the Inn, I called Innkeeper Kevin Jackson and asked for a tour to see if the location was right for a film I was about to shoot. It was perfect! The atmosphere was outstanding and it's style astonishing! Kevin was a more than gracious host to myself and my cast and crew. We used four rooms of the Inn and all look exquisite on film! Definitely a stop for anyone who is having an event or needs to stay in Mechanicsburg!
