The Mountain Dale Farm is a year-round Pennsylvania farm-stay nestled in the quaint city of McClure that boasts a large meeting hall, four efficiency cabins, three dormitory cabins, three forest cabins and a renovated 200 year old log house. Four rooms are available in the farmhouse. Meals, created with fresh, local produce, are available if schedules permit. The kitchen equipment found in most of the cabins offer guests the opportunity to develop their own vacation schedule.
Days may be filled with fishing, hiking, and paddle boating and farm activities. Sheep, pigs, chickens, cattle, geese, goats, ducks, horses, rabbits and peacocks are fed twice a day and guests are welcome to help. Wildlife from the surrounding forest is often seen. Evenings can be spent swapping stories with friends on a porch swing or stargazing. |
