Vogt Farm Bed & Breakfast is our Lancaster County Pennsylvania Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Amish Country near York, Hershey and Lancaster. Voted “The Most Affordable Luxury Inn” and 2011 Spirit of Hospitality Award winner. Come and enjoy scenic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania by visiting this 26-acre farm Bed and Breakfast which is home to cattle as well as few cats here and there. At the Vogt Farm Bed and Breakfast, sit on any of the three porches enjoying the swings and seeing the stars and soak up the quiet.
Breakfast is a special time at Vogt Farm. The food is delicious and plentiful. We get to know each other and have a fun time together. Conversation is interesting and sometimes lively. We love to hear about what you saw and where you ate. If you need help with your day this is the time Kathy shares help and direction. We have many things to do, and places to see and wonderful dining. Take a day trip to Hershey, we are just 20 minutes away and our rooms are as lovely and probably less expensive. For a fine dining experience, try Bube's Brewery. The Nissley Vineyards is open all year for tours.
In the summer they offer Music in the Vineyards. We have tickets to assure that you get in. Sometimes the concerts fill up, our people are assured of getting in, just ask Kathy. An opportunity to enjoy our Susquehanna River would be in kayaking. Shank's Mare offers lessons, rentals and great "parties". Something new in Lancaster city is "Living Experience" about the Underground Railroad; this is so unusual you will surely want to allow time to see it.
We look forward to meeting you too!

This was our 1st time of staying at a B&B. We didn't know what to expect, but to our surprise the atmosphere being here was so warm and comfortable. Kathy & Keith are wonderful inkeepers and made our stay here a very pleasant experience. We look forward to staying here again.

My husband and I celebrated his 50th birthday by going to Vogt's Farm. We had an amazing time.
The Farm is lovely and peaceful. Keith and Kathy are the perfect amount of friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Kathy and Keith make accomodations for food alergies (although we did not need this, others at the B&B did). Breakfast was served family style with Kathy and Keith eating with us. That made for such an interesting and fun breakfast. If you forgot to pack any personal necessities they have an "oops, I forgot it" drawer. Very nice to have.
My husband and I are already talking about going back.

LOOK NO FURTHER FOR THE BEST. WE HAVE DONE BnB'S FOR 30 YRS. ALL OVER THE WORLD. OUR BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. XXXX REASONABLE. XXXXXX ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL AND NEED BEFORE WE ASK. FOOD AND FRIENDSHIP WONDERFUL AND GENUINE. WE WERE MET OUTSIDE WITH A FRIENDLY GREETING EVERY TIME WE RETURNED FROM AN EXCURSION. I LOVED THE COMPLIMENTARY CHOCOLATES AND SNACKS, BUT ESPECIALLY OUR REFRIGERATOR STOCKED WITH SPRING WATER.

We have stayed at many B & B's around the MidAtlantic region, and this is by far the best so far. This is actually our third stay here at Vogt Farm. We have chosen a different room for each of our stays. All were great, but the G & G Brubaker Suite is our favorite so far. We have one more room to try, and we can't wait until our next getaway. Keith is always so gracious when he meets us on arrival, and Kathy's breakfasts are astounding! Highly recommended! Thanks Keith and Kathy Vogt for a wonderful experience.

This was our third time staying at this B&B, and as usual we had another wonderful experience. Everyone is always very helpful, courteous and friendly. The only problem with the food is that you have to stop yourself from eating so much! Each time we have stayed there we have had the pleasure of meeting a varity of different people, and each time enjoyed delightful conversations on a vsrity of topics. During a previous stay we even stayed at the table until 11am talking with other guests!!! Despite not needing any help with directions this time, previously they arranged an Amish dinner for us, as well as provided us with ideal directions and maps. We also can't go without mentioning the amazing bathroom in the Grandma and Grandpa Brubaker room. The large two person tub is so relaxing, and afterwards it feels so nice to put on the ultra plush comfy bathrobes! It is so nice to know that whenever we want to visit the area that we do not have to search to find where to stay, we already know the best B&B in Lancaster County.

I heartily recommend Vogt Farm B&B, chosen by fellow travelers who have stayed there on many previous occations. Warm hospitality, good food and helpful hosts enhanced the experience in a pastoral and convenient location with easy accsss both to Lancaster/Pennsylvania Dutch country and historic York. You feel as if you are visiting friends, not just finding a place to stay. I hope I can go back soon!

My Friend and I stayed there about a month ago and had some very interesting things happen while we were guest there. First of all, the innkeepers weren't very helpful in finding things to do. They gave us about the same info that you could find in maps and brochures.
The Breakfast was no completely cooked and it made my friend and I sick for the rest of the day. We had talked to some other guests that evening to see if it was just us but they were also ill that day too.
They did not go out of their way to make us feel welcome at all.. Actually we kind of felt like we were intruding!
The Breakfast table conversations both mornings we very offensive. I go to church and have faith, but if you were not like them they made fun of other religions and I was OFFENDED... being the nice person I am , I never said anything.. but it continued the following morning.
I know of at least 4 people who will never go to this BNB AGAIN! I would never recommend it to anyone!
This was the first time for my friend to ever go to a BNB and it really was a terrible experience, Not all BNB's are like this.
You are to feel welcome , taken care of , and even a little pampered! NOT HERE!

Regarding Comment # 6645
While we, at Vogt Farm, realize that it is not reality to be able to please everyone every time…….It is our ultimate goal to exceed all expectations of our guests. Having said that, I feel we must respond to the various charges leveled at us by this unhappy guest.
• It is our policy following breakfast each day to offer help to our guests in planning their day to make the most efficient use of their time in Lancaster County; giving them helpful hints about areas that may interest them. If my memory serves me correctly, we arranged for this guest to have dinner with an Amish family to enjoy a very rich cultural experience.
• At Vogt farm, we not only serve breakfast to our guests, we dine with them as well. There was another couple who shared the same food and neither of them or us experienced any difficulty.
• It is our policy to greet our guests as they exit their vehicle in our parking area and enthusiastically offer to carry their luggage to their room.
• Breakfast conversation is usually livelily and many times covers a broad spectrum of topics. We do, however, try to avoid controversial topics for the good of all.
• The most concerning of all the comments was the idea that we “made fun of other religions.” We have hosted folks over the last twenty two years from all over the world and many varying religions. I can say without equivocation, that no host at Vogt Farm has ever made fun of another religion. While we may, from time to time, touch on our Christian beliefs if the conversation goes in that direction, we would never desire to make a guest uncomfortable because they did not agree with our faith.
• One parting thought. We have comment cards available in each of our guest rooms for guests to express their approval/disapproval of our accommodations without having to express them verbally. This guest chose not to help us meet their needs in this manner.
