Great Valley House of Valley Forge

The House
"Did George Washington sleep here?" is a question often asked by visitors to The Great Valley House of Valley Forge Bed and Breakfast. Older than the house George Washington stayed at during the Valley Forge encampment, this 300 year old stone farmhouse is a five minute drive to Valley Forge National Park.

Peaches And Cream Room
The "Peaches & Cream Room" is a spacious third floor guest room furnished in antiques with a queen canopy bed and a twin day bed. This room exudes old fashioned charm with coordinated quilts. The large in-room private bath features an over sized antique claw foot tub fitted with a shower. All rooms are air conditioned and include cable TV, radio and free high speed Internet LAN connections. The Peaches and Cream room can sleep three people.

Rose And Grey Room
The "Rose & Grey Room" is privately located on the third floor; the queen bed has a ceiling canopy nestled under the eaves. The centuries old exterior stone walls are apparent beneath the ancient wood ceiling beams. This room features handmade quilts accompanied with ivy paintings on the walls. There is also a twin bed providing additional sleeping space. This room has a charming private in-room bath with shower and a unique sink constructed from an antique Singer sewing machine. All rooms are air conditioned and include cable TV, radio and high speed Internet LAN connections.

Cranberry Room
The " Cranberry Room" is a large second floor corner room with windows on three sides. This room highlights an antique double bed accompanied by a sitting area with a queen sofa bed and wing back chairs. There is also an antique table and chairs for quiet reading. One of the walls is covered by bookcases with books for guests to enjoy. Many American quilts create a warm, welcoming feeling. This room has a private adjacent hall bath with shower. All rooms are air conditioned and include cable TV, radio and free high speed Internet LAN connections.
