Located in Lehighton 5 minutes from Historic Jim Thorpe, Whispering Waters Bed and Breakfast Suites is an historic circa 1893 Trout Hatchery. This country Victorian estate is nestled between two mountains on more than 15 acres of glorious Pennsylvania wilderness. With only two suites located in the original home, no more than 2 couples at a time can wrap themselves up and away from the outside world. This intimate and very private estate allows for the most perfect hideaway, even if you live 10 minutes away.
Upon arrival, guests are surrounded by tranquil sounds of water as it transcends through the property by way of historic stone and mortar walls that span over 10 acres. The continuous sounds of water flowing through the air will set your soul to ease as you close your eyes and take it all in and exhale. For hikers, explore our mountain and uninhabited nature walks. Bird lovers, can view a variety of birds from the porch sitting area or while resting in between two trees in the perfect hammock.
