My husband and I went to Lancaster for one night just to get away. We stayed at Kings Cottage Bed and Breakfast and had a wonderful time. We scheduled a couple's massage when we first got there. It was fabulous. Everyone there was wonderful. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The Inn Keepers were extremely friendly and helpful. They had printed directions for just about everywhere and recommended a great farmers market that was open on Sunday. The breakfast was delicious and they let us stay and talk to some other guest over coffee and never made us feel that we had to rush. I would definitely stay again the next time we are in Lancaster.

Our B&B host Ann was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go for viewing the covered bridges with maps and directions, several great restaurants for meals and some of the best tourist attractions. Being a highly ranked B&B, she lived up to that reputation with superb and delicious breakfasts that we thoroughly enjoyed. We are looking forward to a return trip in the near future.

King's Cottage is by far our favorite B & B and we have stayed at many all over the country and in Europe. The facility, atmosphere, food and overall value is the best we have experienced. As we go to Lancaster quite often, our last visit was at least the eighth time we have enjoyed our stay. Everything about the Cottage is professional and top rated, but the real value is what the owners provide. From the minute you walk in the door, Ann and Janis and staff make you feel at home as a cherished guest. Their knowledge of the area and reputation as very competent business owners rewards each guest due to the discounts available as well as how you are treated by people who they recommended. If you want a quality visit to Lancaster PA that is all encompassing, go to King's Cottage, meet new friends at breakfast, learn all about the area and come home with a whole new and fulfilling travel experience. You will not regret it and will return as often as you can. Louise & Bob Geier

We chose the King's Cottage as our weekend accommodations for a friend's wedding nearby. With our own wedding only two weeks away, we thought it would be the perfect getaway and time to refresh. We were absolutely correct! Every small detail of the King's Cottage contributes to the romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious, the gardens were beautiful, and Janis and Ann were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Carriage House and even enjoyed breakfast brought right to our front door. Just the right amount of privacy while still enjoying the friendly feel of a bed and breakfast. Everything was perfect!

This is a lovely BB. Ann, one of the innkeepers, was an exceptionally helpful and friendly lady with lots of information on the area and its attractions. The breakfast was delicious. She even came to pick us up from the train station and gave us a little tour of the town. We stayed in the Duchess. The room was beautiful, may be a bit smaller than I had thought, but with ample room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. We're not into BnB's but after this experience I know why they are so popular. I recommend this place highly to couples (young, old, etc), and to singles too. Thank you for a wonderful time.
