Welcome to the Pheasant Run Farm Bed and Breakfast in Lancaster, PA an 1842 farmhouse surrounded by 48 acres of pristine farmland.
In warm weather you may listen to the birds and watch deer come down from the woods while enjoying your morning coffee or tea from a rocking chair on the veranda. You will be ready to start your day after a bounteous breakfast served in the cozy dining room on a pine farm table, surrounded by locally made fan-back Windsor chairs. Candlelight, sterling silver and the many beautiful dishes Vivian has collected through the years make breakfast a memorable event.
In 1998 work was begun to convert the barn into a bed and breakfast that combines today's modern luxuries with the barn's original architectural features. Pheasant Run Farm Bed & Breakfast opened its doors to guests in 2002 and was presented with an award for Adaptive Re-use by the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County. It also received an Award of Excellence from The Keystone Chapter, Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. for interior finishes. The property remains a working farm with 26 acres of corn and alfalfa crops.
