My wife and I took a retreat to Lancaster, PA and stumbled upon this cozy place. They took our reservation last minute and waited up for us until we arrived, two hours past check in. Toni was so nice went he greeted us, and he showed us around and answered all of our questions to the best of his ability. The place was immaculate! Everywhere in the house was so neat and tidy. Lorin's needle point portraits looked so real that my wife and I thought they were actual pictures. Our room with the jacuzzi was so inviting and perfect. We had such a great time and took the advice of Toni to go and check out a local winery. We highly recommend staying with this lovely family. The breakfast was amazing, everything was amazing, I can't see staying anywhere else in Lancaster. 10/10

My husband and I stayed here last year for our anniversary, and we were so pleased and impressed that there was no question as to where we would go this year! The Inn, the property, and the renovated barn are absolutely top notch. Once you've had the best, it spoils you for anything else. We stayed BOTH times in the Copper Beech Suite. It is very spacious, comfortable, and you never have to leave it if you don't want to. We stayed in all weekend this year and never got "cabin fever" because there is a private balcony to enjoy the countryside, a sitting room with fireplace - just totally enjoyable all the way around. The made-to-order gourmet breakfast is absolutely delicious. Miranda and her husband Nick were our hosts for breakfast on Saturday, and did an outstanding job as they did last year. We did not make it down for breakfast on Sunday, we were too busy enjoying the two-person jacuzzi. If you want to be treated like kings and queens, you really need to go to the Silverstone Inn & Suites.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful nights rest at the Silverstone Inn. It's such a creative mix of elegance and antique, of present day and yesteryear that we felt very much at home and at the same time surrounded by history. The location is convenient to shopping {we could have walked to the outlet stores} and yet we were in the countryside. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and beautifully presented even the coffee was perfect and I am hard to please with my morning cup of joe. We cannot wait to go back.

The mansion was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holiday, room accommodations were very comfortable and attractive, as were the common areas, the hosts were very helpful and friendly (focused on guest satisfaction), and breakfast was appealing to the eye as well as the palate. We enjoyed walking around the well-maintained grounds and couldn't believe how tranquil the area is when so close to the busy shopping, dining and entertainment areas. Interesting to see the Amish farms nearby. We had a wonderful, restful time.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick summer getaway on his long weekend off and we found Silverstone B&B online while searching places to stay in Lancaster. We booked our stay online through the website which was very easy to do. Our stay was truly enjoyable. The hosts for that weekend were the owners daughter and her fiance. They were so nice and very knowledgeable of the area. We were also provided a map of the area to explore. We stayed in the "Sugar Maple Room" which is a lovely room on the third floor. A little bit of a hike up the stairs but well worth it. The home itself is beautiful. We felt very comfortable roaming around sitting in the various areas while listening to soft music the plays through out the main areas of the home. The breakfasts we had were very good and beautifully presented. The only minor issue I had during our stay was that I wish they had shades at the windows, especially in the bathroom. I understand why they don't because the window treatments look very nice, however I easily solved my issue by putting up a towel. We are looking forward to staying again in the fall.

Response
So nice to hear you enjoyed your stay! Just wanted to quickly explain that we DO have folding shades on all the bed and bathroom windows with darkening backing that lower with a cord on the side. Not as obvious as the roller shades but they are there. just for your knowledge during your next stay! Have a great year and thank you for your feedback, Toni

If you're looking for a B&B in Lancaster, look NO further than Silverstone Inn and Suites. It's spectacular in every way. Unlike most other B&B's in Lancaster, this one is AWAY from the noisy streets. The breakfast is absolutely fresh and delicious, and the "bed" rooms are beautiful. Everything about it is perfect. Can't wait to go back! Linda and Will

Definitely a first class, five star inn. Everything was perfect--from the spectacularly furnished house (lovingly renovated), prime location (away from the hustle and bustle, but minutes away from everything), gourmet breakfast, and the warm welcome we received from Toni Wortel, the most knowledgeable, friendly, and fascinating innkeeper I have ever met. Thank you Toni, Lorin, and Miranda for a wonderful stay.

Silverstone was nothing short of awesome. We stayed in the cottage, there were sheep that would come right up to the deck. The hot tub outside was so convenient and easy to use. Inside the main house was just lovely. There's a bar area where you can meet with friends to enjoy your favorite drinks; very cool atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious; crepes and sausage, very yummy! We loved it and will definitely be going back!

As a wedding present, we were given a gift certificate to the Silverstone. We booked a weekend at the inn and stayed in the private Butternut cottage. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! The property was gorgeous, peaceful and very well maintained, while close to Lancaster attractions. Tony and Lorin were wonderful hosts and you do not want to miss the breakfasts. The food, as with everything else, was first class. This is the nicest B&B we have stayed at.
