Flowers & Thyme Bed and Breakfast is located on a one acre lot in a rural, country setting in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This brick colonial house was constructed by an Amish man for a Mennonite family in 1941. Enjoy a quiet evening on the patio, a pastoral farm view from the rocking chairs on the front porch, the perennial flowers mixed with annuals and the herb gardens on our grounds.

Lancaster County offers an array of shopping and cultural experiences. There is something for everyone. You'll find activities here in abundance. You'll need more than one day to discover the hidden gems and to absorb the diversity of Lancaster County.
Only 1 mile from US Rt. 30 and within 5 miles of the unique towns of Strasburg, Bird-In-Hand and the surrounding Amish country. We are also just 1 mile from the Tanger Outlet Center at Millstream and 2 miles from Rockvale Square Outlets.

Check In Policy:
Check-in is between 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM unless other arrangements are made.
Check Out Policy:
Check-out is 11:00 AM. Staying later may be subject to an additional charge.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made 15 days before the actual date of your arrival will have their deposit refunded, less a $20 cancellation fee per room. Cancellations received less than 15 days prior to arrival will forfeit their deposit unless we are able to re-rent the room. The $20 fee will still apply. Whole house rentals require a 3 - week cancellation notice. Cancellations will only be honored if you have spoken directly with the innkeepers. We will not be responsible for messages by mail, email, or left on an answering machine.
Children: Children ages 12+
Children 12 years or older are welcome. We have many couples coming to enjoy their anniversary without their children, so we want to respect their wishes for a quiet stay.
Deposit Policy:
One night's deposit is required to secure your reservation. Whole house rentals require payment in full 30 days prior to arrival. A deposit paid by check must be received three weeks or more in advance of your stay.
No Pets Allowed
Pets are not allowed, nor do we have any here, out of deference to our guests who have allergies.
Smoking: Outside
We are a smoke-free facility. Smoking is permitted outside only - on the porch or on the grounds. No candles or incense burning is permitted per our insurance agreement. We have provided electric window candles for romantic ambiance. If you or your guests smoke indoors, or if candles are burned in your room, you will be billed $250 to cover charges to clean the room.

We stayed one night while attending a Christian music concert nearby. We wish we had set up the trip to stay another night and enjoy the wonderful home and hospitality of Don and Ruth! Everything was great, the breakfast was fantastic!

The stay was absolutely amazing. As advertised. Clean, and we had no problems. Arrived on Thanksgiving day and mentioned to the owners that we were looking forward to the hammock. They told us it was down for the winter but reminded us about the Gazebo which was just fine for us (it is winter). Next morning: the owner had put up the hammock for us! We also left an iphone charger which they found and mailed to us before we even knew it was missing. Definitely stay again and recommend without hesitation. Five stars.

If you're looking for a ''home away from home,'' this is it! From the minute we arrived to our departure, we felt so welcomed, relaxed, and as if we were visiting good friends. This was our first visit, and we look forward to returning. Wait 'till you see the abundance of flowers and carefully tended gardens! Your "thyme" will pass too quickly, and you'll be planning your next trip to Flowers and Thyme.

This B&B's property was perfectly aligned with the beauty of the surrounding Lancaster County farm country. They have an incredible amount of flowerbeds, wonderful landscaping, a hammock hung in the shade of the tree grove, and a screened-in gazebo. Don and Ruth were wonderful hosts, able to provide helpful suggestions about things to see and do in the area. The food at breakfast was like eating at a 5 star restaurant! We will definitely be returning to this B&B!
