The Loft Suite The third floor of stone house is probably the most historically exciting with its exposed stone walls, open rafter cathedral ceiling, and wide pine board floors from the beginning of the house. This suite is one large room (about two thirds the whole floor) and includes a queen size bed and clothing storage - both bureau and closets), comfortable chairs and a primitive fainting couch, a small refrigerator and wet sink, cable TV, attached tub and shower bathroom. The Battle Room On the second floor of the stone house and so named for being the only room permanently affected by the battle in 1863, there is a minie ball bullet in the mantle above the fireplace from the 1st day of the battle, a gracious queen size cherry sleigh bed and large Edwardian armoire with mirrors, sitting chair and slipper bench, with an attached stall shower bathroom. The Olde Master Bedroom One of original bedrooms in the old stone house and on the second floor this romantic spacious room offers a stately cherry hand-carved rice poster bed, a walnut Victorian dresser, wingback chairs for reading, and a fireplace.
