The Herr Tavern & Publick House was built in 1815 by Thomas Sweeney. Sweeny built his tavern here to capitalize on the route that led west. This is now US Route 30. Accomodations are in the original building, the newer addition and annex. We offer many ammenities ~ Whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, private baths, balconies, a/c, coffee makers and more! You can even treat yourself with a fine full body massage from our in-house masseuse.
