This was our second visit back to Blair Mountain and we brought another couple with us this time. We weren't let down. Tracie is a gracious hostess and excellent cook. She provided us with directions and made us feel at home. It is a beautiful old home with wonderful character. We'll return!

The inn is beautiful, and our room was spacious and quite lovely...a king-size sleigh bed with plenty of pillows, private bath with a jacuzzi for two, floor to ceiling windows, a cozy sofa and an armoire hiding the TV...all in all, it was gorgeous! The room temperature, however, was unbelievably hot and we had no way to adjust it, nor could the windows be opened to let in some of the frigid night air. We found this rather odd since Tracie, the innkeeper, had told us the room tended to be cold and that we should feel free to use the oil heater. Also, when we were first shown to our room we were told that we could not wear our shoes in the room (because of the ivory wall-to-wall carpeting) and in fact were expected to leave our shoes outside the door. I didn't mind taking off my shoes since I generally do not wear shoes indoors...but, there are folks who would balk at such an odd requirement. Breakfast was imaginative and beautifully presented, but we found the main dish of baked French toast overly sweet and a bit soggy.

I appreciate their detailed response but feel I need to clarify. The room, due to the huge windows, tends to get warm with a sunny day, and being a converted home to a B&B, I try to make them as comfortable as I can. There are TWO windows that can be opened and I have a fan available, and I'm sorry they didn't realize that. Well, after two years in business, I guess one good criticism will help me to be a better innkeeper!! Blessings!

We booked this B&B for our wedding weekend. We stayed in the Dream Suite and our parents stayed in the other rooms. We live locally, so we had the opportunity to check out all the B&Bs around the area before choosing one. Tracie was so friendly and the house just lovely... It was an easy choice! Our room was spotless, and our needs for early arrival were met. Breakfast was incredible, and our family very much enjoyed gathering and chatting in the country dining room after breakfast. The view out the huge windows was soothing. We saw a fox and a deer. Everybody enjoyed their stay; it was the perfect preface to our honeymoon in St. Lucia. We would recommend this B&B, and we would stay here again...!

We loved the richness and hominess of the inn. It had unbelievable character and was rich with history. Tracey was very welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home immediately. Both of our breakfasts were unique and delicious! We will definately return to Blair Mountain Bed & Breakfast.

Beautiful setting in the woods. Enjoyed a massive suite-like room with a large bathroom to match. Tracie was very cordial and knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and had a very relaxing time. We went to Boiling Springs Tavern for our dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Laura's Dream Suite which was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful and enjoyed chatting with our hostess during our meal which we felt was very personable. We highly recommend this place to friends and family.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary here - perfectly wonderful! Quietness, friendliness, elegance, charming hospitality and simple beauty - it was here.... Woods and wildlife was an attraction, too. Thanks, Tracie!

What a great first experience at a bed & breakfast. This property is gorgeous. It was fascinating to know that the hardwood floors and the stone fireplace, among other things, was approx. 250 years old. Tracie was accomodating and made a great breakfast for us in the morning. The suite that we stayed in was beautiful....gorgeous view, very relaxing.

The innkeepers were great and very considerate. Nice personal touches. Food was super. Nice, quiet, and pretty location. Somewhat remote but that may be a plus to many.

To echo my husband's comment of Blair Mtn. "this is the best B &B we have ever stayed at" and I agree 100%. There was nothing we didn't like - the host, accomodations, scenery, food and the atmosphere were outstanding. The house had history and that intrigued my husband, so I knew we had a winner when he started his inspection tour. It was late at night when we arrived, getting lost, and the hosts were so very understanding and even stayed with us on the phone until we pulled into the parking lot. Outstanding 100%? Absolutely.

The innkeepers did a wonderful job in taking care of us during our stay. The rural, mountainous setting was peaceful and allowed us to rest comfortably. We highly recommend Blair Mountain B&B.

We stayed in the "Laura's Dream Suite" and it was absolutely gorgeous! This was our first time in a B&B and cannot wait to go back for another stay. The innkeepers were so personable and welcoming! I would highly recommend this B&B! It's only 3 miles from SkiRoundtop!

Our stay was just what we needed. A break from the busyness of life. Our room was splendid, cozy and grand all in one. The scenery out our window made everything peacefu as we were eye level with the birds in the trees. Traci & John were a joy to be with. We will be back again. We just wish we would have stayed for more than one night. Thanks for the lovely time :)
